Meghan Markle had apparently found the family, well at least the father she longed for — in the Royal Family, according to a controversial confession made by Prince Harry.
What if that statement from the Duke of Sussex was true? King Charles III embraced Markle when she became part of the Royal Family.
Many can recall that loving moment when King Charles walked her down the aisle because her father, Thomas Markle, suffered a health episode after getting embroiled in a photo scandal.
After the publication of Spare, the podcast of the Netflix series, many believed that the relationship between Markle and her father-in-law had been destroyed.
However, not so fast, says author Omid Scobie. In his new bombshell book, Endgame, he revealed that Markle, who has zero contact with her father, Thomas Markle has found ways to correspond with His Majesty.
The royal journalist also explained Prince Harry still has a real love for his father, and Markle feels the same way about the Monarch, who took her in, helped organize her wedding, and was present for her big day.
He revealed that via a third party, possibly one of Prince Harry’s cousins, Meghan Markle, sent messages to King Charles and pictures of Archie and Lilibet.
The writer revealed: “And I was surprised to learn that even Meghan [Markle] has some sort of correspondence with Charles, sending over photos of the children [Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2], although they’re not directly to him. So there is a willingness there.”
He also confirmed that time is a healer for Prince Harry and King Charles because there is still a great deal of love between the pair.
The link between Prince Harry and Prince William has been cut off completely. However, his bond with his “darling Pa” lives on, and he hopes to get close to him again.
The expert shared: “A striking difference between Charles and William when it comes to their relationships with Harry is there is still a warmth between Harry and Charles. With Harry, there’s a reluctant acceptance that this is just who his father is. He would rather have that in his life than to cut it off completely. Hence, when they talk, it is often [Harry] reaching out.”
Many naysayers have bashed Markle in the past for turning her back or for being disrespectful to King Charles, it seems that the new book is shedding some truth on their relationship which seems cordial, loving, and warm despite the drama.
