For the past four years, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been struck with endless rumors.
However, there is one particular chatter that sends the British royal into a tizz. If he could, Prince Harry would ban all experts, journalists, and media outlets from using the word “divorce” when talking about his romance with the former American actress.
A source close to Prince Harry has revealed that he is determined to make his marriage work and keep his family together.
He and his brother, Prince William, grew up in a broken home and will never reproduce what they witnessed and dealt with when King Charles III and the late Princess Diana went their separate ways.
This is why The Duke of Sussex is unable to shake off that horrible article penned by Graydon Carter, the former editor of Vanity Fair.
The piece claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will sadly count the length of their marriage in years, not decades.
According to Carter, the union is doomed because Markle sees Prince Harry as a footnote in the story of her rise to fame and fortune.
An insider spoke to Closer via The Mirror to say that Prince Harry was furious over the suggestion.
The person claimed that Prince Harry was sick to his stomach, and a journalist with some weight and experience could have written such a hurtful article.
The person stated: “It’s humiliating for them, and divorce is absolutely not an option; they have kids, and despite everything, they really do love each other. They also said Harry is incredibly sensitive about Graydon’s comments. They said he finds it sickening that people think Meghan used him as a stepping stone.”
The source told the publication that when a reporter who is “hugely respected within society circles” shares his opinion, it becomes fact, and added: “When Graydon Carter weighs in on a topic like this, important people in the highest places listen. It’s going to have a domino effect as far as the perceived narrative about their marriage and its long-term prospects goes.”
The insider went on to reveal that the previous suggestion that Markle is using her husband as a stepping stool will delight the enemies that reside in the British monarchy.
They said people might assume Graydon has inside knowledge about any tension in their relationship, instead of it is pure speculation.
The source said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are worried that other critics will now weigh in on their relationship. Their enemies inside The Firm will be laughing.”
The person in the know claimed the divorce rumors are “categorically untrue.”
