Donald Trump‘s team might have done him a disservice by releasing this new video.

The former president seemed to have debuted his natural face and real skin texture in a brief clip where he slammed Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, who endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the race for the White House.

The tough-talking Republican from New York dismissed Reynolds’s influence and impact on the 2024 presidential campaign.

Donald Trump said: “Kim Reynolds of Iowa has gone from a popular to the most unpopular governor in the United States of America. Her endorsement of Ron DeSanctimonious, who is 50 points down to me in the polls, has given him exactly zero ballots.”

Note that the Iowa Poll shows that the governor is popular in the state, with 81% of Republican voters viewing her favorably.

In the clip, Trump continued by explaining that Reynolds “has given him exactly zero bounce.” Donald Trump claimed that Ron DeSantis is “a wounded bird” who was forced to offer Kim Reynolds a post in his potential administration in exchange for her support.

Trump declared: “I wonder what position Kim was promised to back someone who is so far down in the polls.”

This is not the first time that Trump has criticized the Iowa governor. He recently said that Reynolds was “disloyal” and her being on Team DeSantis meant “the end of her political career.”

Most of the time, Donald Trump’s words are scrutinized, but this video went viral for another reason. Many took to social media to say that Trump seems to have debuted his new or natural face.

Some were baffled that Donald Trump dared to appear on camera without his famous orange makeup or deep fake tan. A few social media users defend Trump by saying that he is 77 years old and should be allowed to look like his age, which includes wrinkles, lines, and bags under his eyes.

Others said that running for president and fighting multiple court cases have taken a toll on him, which would explain why he looks tired.

This week, Donald Trump has been attacked on multiple fronts for his appearance and aura. A big Republican donor, who initially supported Senator Tim Scott and has now jumped on former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley‘s train, said that Donald Trump’s aura was peeling away.

Eric Levine, a mega donor and lawyer, slammed the former president by telling The New York Times: “There were people that don’t like Trump at all but were very skeptical that he could be stopped. They now believe he can be stopped. His aura of invincibility is just peeled away completely.”

The former president is currently leading some general election polls against President Joe Biden.
