Many months have gone by since Prince Harry pulled the coup of the century: the publication of the most successful non-fiction book in history — Spare.
The memoir contained a vivid description of his stepmother, Queen Camilla. For years, Prince Harry buried his feelings about King Charles III, his wife, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, and he used his pen to let it all out.
King Charles, via his close friends and top staff members, has responded on multiple occasions to the accusation made by his youngest son.
His Majesty made it clear that he was upset and disappointed. King Charles took a long list of concrete actions to punish Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have also used the voices of close friends to blast Prince Harry for staining their reputations.
However, it seems that Queen Camilla has taken another route that could serve as a masterclass on how to deal with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Her Majesty has decided that the best response is the complete and utter ignorance of the Montecito royals.
Queen Camilla, the true student of the late Queen Elizabeth II, is acting as if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not exist in her royal world.
For the past months, there have been zero leaks from Queen Camilla’s camp explaining that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have hurt her or ruined her image.
She has not commented on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s private issues and has decided to use her outings or royal engagements to steal the spotlight from them.
Many are surprised by Queen Camilla’s radical decision because Prince Harry had some choice words for her. Prince Harry said that he and his brother begged King Charles not to marry Queen Camilla.
He also wrote: “I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she’d be less dangerous if she was happy.’ How was she dangerous?”
When CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked him to explain why his stepmother is dangerous, he revealed: “Because of the need for her to rehabilitate her image. That made her dangerous because of the connections that she was forging within the British press. And there was an open willingness on both sides to trade information. And with a family built on hierarchy, and with her on the way to being queen consort, there were going to be people or bodies left in the street because of that.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are facing tough opponents.
