King Charles Receives Stern Warning About Engaging Prince Harry And Meghan Markle On Unworkable Plan

King Charles Prince Harry Meghan Markle Part-Time Royals Plan

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, think it is time to change gear. They are eager to move forward and find a way to reconcile with the Royal Family.

Interestingly, King Charles III is not shutting the door on the idea. However, some observers say that the so-called negotiations are just smoke and mirrors.

In order to get the ball rolling, Markle has put an offer on the table: she wants to be a part-time royal. This means she would spend half of her time in California and the other portion in the UK.

This come-to-Jesus moment has nothing to do with fuzzy feelings, but with the realization that being independent royals is hard and money is drying up fast with the unique lifestyle of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Markle has a clear plan, to spend 8 months in the US and four months renting an apartment at Kensington Palace. Such a move would make reconciliation possible and get Prince Harry closer to his family.

The Duke has been very open about his desire to return home so his two children — Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet — can learn more about their British roots.

The King is listening, but there is one big ask — the Sussexes have to stop talking negatively about the British royals. A source told Life & Style: “Meghan and Harry have to agree not to speak ill of the royals again. That’s a must. It would be an utter embarrassment if they were to be kicked out of the family for a second time.”

This kind of positive development was already in the works after the birthday phone call to King Charles in November. However, the release of Omid Scobie‘s Endgame book took things backward with the revelation that The Monarch and Kate Middleton made some comments about unborn Archie’s skin tone.

Duncan Larcombe, a famed royal commentator, says redemption is never totally lost in the Royal Family. He told New magazine: “I think the Sussexes are aware the Prince and Princess of Wales are still furious. There’s always a way back. Look at Camilla – she was the most hated person in Britain, and now she’s the Queen. If that’s possible, anything’s possible. But as things stand at the moment, I’d say it’s pretty unthinkable.”

For many observers, Markle’s concept is just a new take on their initial plan to become part-time royals. However, the whole idea remains perplexing because, for it to work, many parties have to find ways to get to a yes.

Moreover, it might not be realistic to assume that the Sussexes would receive the proper welcome if they had to return to the royal fold. The Prince and Princess of Wales have shown no interest in reconciliation.

It is unlikely that King Charles would move forward with such an agreement without the support of the heir to the throne. Some critics are also warning The Sovereign that Prince Harry and Markle could use any agreement as a launching pad for their commercial endeavors.

For now, the two sides benefit from the narrative that progress is being made and reconciliation is within reach.

It is an effective way to grab headlines without ever making any serious moves.

  1. It’s about time that Charles remembers that he is paid a great deal of money to represent the British public and should therefore read and listen to what the public say and feel about harry and megan and make his choise according to that then if that goes against how he feels as a father if there is a conflict between the two he then has to think about his future because I don’t think that he can have it both ways
