Donald Trump’s Potential VP Pick Leaves Everyone Gasping For Air With This Comment

Donald Trump Joe Biden Barack Obama Warning To Democrats

Straight out of Donald Trump‘s unsurprising and underwhelming win in Iowa, chatter about his next moves is heating the political sphere.

There is, of course, a lot of talk about his multiple court cases and the roadmap he needs to create to take on President Joe Biden.

However, a fiery interview from Ben Carson has lit up the flames about Donald Trump’s potential vice president pick.

Carson, a brilliant neurosurgeon, who worked as Donald Trump’s Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, is not known for captivating audiences.

Oftentimes, Carson, while poised and deeply intellectual, is also nearly sleepy and unremarkable during his television appearance.

While Trump constantly grabs the limelight without permission, the soft-spoken doctor is known for being captivating once after losing his suitcase during a live interview on CNN.

However, Tuesday night, a passionate Ben Carson emerged with multiple Bible references while defending Donald Trump’s name, reputation, and questionable actions as the cheating husband of Melania Trump.

Appearing on FOX News, the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center explained that, like King David, Donald Trump should be forgiven for the horrible things he has done.

The academic and author told Neil Cavuto: “Think about the Bible and King David. Most of those people, probably if they were alive back in those days, would say, ‘Oh, what a horrible guy.’ You know, the episode with Bathsheba, and some of the other things that he did.”

Ben Carson was talking about the biblical story of King David, shared in the book of 2 Samuel. According to the scriptures, King David ordered that Uriah the Hittite, one of his soldiers, “be moved to the front line of a battle, so he could be killed.”

King David married Bathsheba’s wife, but “their first child died as punishment from God for David’s adultery and murder of Uriah.”

The suddenly animated Trump supporter drove his jaw-dropping point home by adding this about God choosing Trump despite his tumultuous love life and affairs: “God uses different people for different times.”

The veteran business journalist appeared baffled and asked Carson if he was comparing Trump to King David. Carson responded by: “I don’t know about ‘King,’ but certainly he has some policies that are very worthwhile.”

Carson’s out-of-character appearance has political pundits wondering if the rumors are true. In late 2023, it was revealed that Trump was eyeing Carson as his VP.

According to Newsweek, a popular conservative Twitter page claimed that Donald Trump “plans to tap Ben Carson, as his 2024 running mate.”

The media outlet wrote: “The Calvin Coolidge Project (@TheCalvinCooli1), a social media account with 40,000 followers, that a source close to Trump said Carson—who was the only Black member of Trump’s cabinet—is the leading front-runner for his vice president in a post on X, formerly Twitter.”

Political strategists applauded the potential choice, saying that Carson is the perfect conservative for the job because he will never overshadow his boss and is the perfect answer to Kamala Harris.

The outlet noted that Carson has been extremely loyal to Trump throughout the years and even defended him against racism accusations.

Carson claimed: “President Trump does not dabble in identity politics. He wants everyone to succeed and believes in the adage, a rising tide lifts all boats.”

Trump and his allies sure know how to light up the political sphere.
