More details are coming out about Prince Harry‘s fast meeting with King Charles III, which took place just hours after he announced the heartbreaking news that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
Upon receiving the dreadful phone call from his father, Prince Harry rushed to the nearest airport for an 11-hour flight bound for London.
The father and son met for less than 30 minutes before His Majesty and Queen Camilla boarded a helicopter that was waiting for them, which they flew to Sandringham.
It has been confirmed that there was what appeared to be a fallout between Prince Harry and his father over Queen Camila.
Reports say that Prince Harry was adamant — he did not want his stepmother in the room when he met with his father. According to The Daily Mail: “Writing for The Telegraph, Camilla’s friend and British journalist, Petronella Wyatt said: “Harry, I hear, preferred not to be in the same room with his stepmother when he spoke to The King about his cancer diagnosis.”
However, according to royal commentator, Neil Sean there is more to the story. The Fox News contributor claimed that Queen Camilla was the clear winner in the humiliating situation.
According to the royal expert, Queen Camilla, who was called a villain and evil, and the other woman, now appears to have the upper hand.
Sean stated: “When Prince Harry arrived, he didn’t want to speak to his father in front of Camila. Now you know all very well about his majesty, the King, obviously being his youngest son. What truly happened was that Camila was in the room and very graciously said I would leave you two to discuss in private. That is a 100% fact; he did not call the shots. And let’s be honest here: if anybody is going to say yes or no, it was his Majesty the King.”
He continued: “The King, of course, would have liked some time with Harry but didn’t know much about this visit until the final moment, and he had commitments. You know, it costs a lot to travel around, and so he couldn’t afford that time. Harry allegedly didn’t want to go to Sandringham and didn’t want to give that time up, so you can see a bit of stalemate.”
He also added: “But the true story is that, uh, whatever way you think about Camilla graciously given everything he’d said and written about her in the book, she realized that this was a father-son moment, and she needed them to have their time together. The king wasn’t too keen on being left too much alone with Prince Harry again, we have to say allegedly, but from my excellent source, the bottom line is, you know, um, how shall we put this nicely? You know, she just.”
Some observers say that Queen Camilla played the long game.
