Prince William‘s wife believes that sometimes she loses because of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s mischievous ways and sheer delight in hogging the spotlight.
In the past years, Catherine, Princess of Wales, has undertaken multiple high-profile roles — some were more successful than others.
Kate Middleton was applauded for her initiative involving mental health. Middleton teamed up with Prince William and Prince Harry for Heads Together to advocate for mental health wellness.
The program launched a conversation that helped people feel comfortable enough to seek mental help if they needed it and be able to support friends and family members who might be struggling.
However, Kate Middleton’s résumé is also plagued with humiliating failures. In 2022, Prince William and his spouse embarked on a royal Caribbean tour to represent Queen Elizabeth II — it was a massive disaster.
The royal couple was hit with protests, and they were forced to reflect on Great Britain’s shameful past that included racism and slavery.
Many royal experts blamed Prince Harry and Markle for the horrific tour because they opened the door to criticism and insults towards the monarchy with their interviews.
Kate Middleton’s most recent trip to Boston to represent King Charles III was turned into chaos due to racist comments made by Prince William’s godmother, Lady Susan Hussey, when she met Ngozi Fulani at Buckingham Palace.
Again Markle and her spouse were claimed to be the culprits who created an atmosphere for the royals to be publicly scrutinized.
Middleton believes that her most significant moment in the spotlight will be at the coronation ceremony, and she is anxious that it could be stolen away from her.
The mother of three, who plans to razzle dazzle the world and represent the institution with dignity, wonders if Prince Harry and Markle will ruin it all with their shenanigans.
A royal source told Heat: “Over and over again, Kate’s had to contend with this ‘look at me’ behavior from Meghan and Harry, and she really doesn’t want them ruining the next few weeks. Their stunts always seem to happen at the worst possible times – on or around important days or milestones.”
The person added: “Everyone knows Kate is the least cynical person you could ever meet, but there are just too many instances of perfectly timed drama for it to be a coincidence. Of course, it’s made Kate wary and anxious about what they might do next.”
Middleton might be somewhat right. While Markle and Prince Harry cannot be held responsible for all of her failures, the pair has a way of stealing the limelight.
The Hollywood couple is also an expert on how to use a big moment or drama to their benefit. Many royal observers predict that soon after the coronation, Prince Harry and Markle will be in the news for a big lucrative, or charitable project.
It is more than likely Markle will relaunch The Tig website, and Prince Harry will announce that he has signed a massive deal with a big company.
The Montecito couple also has multiple projects lined up with Netflix and Spotify, and Prince Harry has many more books to write.
Kate Middleton should be prepared because the worst is yet to come.
