Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are coming to America this year for what is seen as a royal takeover and plan to snatch Prince Harry‘s crown of “the rockstar prince.”
However, Meghan Markle is saying not so fast to her brother and sister-in-law. The future King of England will touch down on American soil in late September.
He last did so in 2014. Prince William will be in New York, preparing the terrain for the Earthshot prize ceremony.
The Duke of Cambridge will meet with wealthy politicians and donors who contributed to Earthshot.
It is reported that the heir to the throne is working on a charity gala for Christmas.
It is claimed that there is a possibility that Prince William might deliver a speech at the UN focused on climate change as Prince Harry did in the summer.
In December, Prince William and Kate Middleton will travel to Boston for the Earthshot prize ceremony, where they will meet with those working hard to provide solutions to climate change and environmental issues.
Royal expert and author Kate Mansey revealed how Prince William might win the American public over via The Daily Mail: “The question now is whether Prince William could yet steal Harry’s ‘crown’ as America’s favorite prince. There are definite signs that Harry’s downbeat routine – which often includes criticizing the Royal Family from his new home in California – is wearing thin with his fellow countrymen.”
Despite Prince William and Kate Middleton’s best efforts to capture America’s heart, Meghan Markle’s recent hits, and significant accomplishments might have shielded her husband.
In the past few weeks, Meghan Markle has been riding the epic California heat wave along with unprecedented success for a member of the British royal family.
According to a new poll, Markle’s favorability is up through the roof thanks to her successful podcast, Archetypes, and her interview with The Cut.
Despite some controversial comments about Nelson Mandela, Prince Charles, the royal family, and a fire during her tour in South Africa, the American people fully support Markle.
According to The Mirror: “A poll of 2001 adults in the US this week – carried out by OnePoll UK – found that they thought more favorably of Meghan despite her comments…around 40 percent said they thought “more favorably of her,” and a further 30 percent said they thought “much more favorably.”
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams shared his thoughts on Markle’s major win and her rise in popularity by saying that he was baffled.
He claimed: “I think that is an extraordinary result because the interview in The Cut was threatening, or I thought it was to the Royal Family. I think it is a staggering result, I can’t explain it. But I certainly would very strongly condemn her mentioning of Nelson Mandela and his release from prison, and that it is linked to her in any connection or context.”
Fitzwilliams added: “I’m not surprised that her admirers and her fans would support her, because she has some very piteous followers on Twitter. She is American and is unique in the way that she is a biracial former actress and divorcee, and when she married into the royal family, I thought it was fantastic. Now I’m just very surprised by this result, but I think she has admirers and fans because she is American.”
In their interview in The Cut, Markle said, “[Her mom] said, ‘You never move one without the other.’ That’s me and Harry. We’re like salt and pepper. We always move together,” which implies that the couple will ride the wave of success and popularity as one.
Markle’s triumphant career switch to a podcast host indicates Prince Harry’s book will most likely break records when it is released.
