It has been confirmed that Kate Middleton was not ready to share her heartbreaking cancer news with the world; she was pushed, forced, and blackmailed into doing it.
In a video that was filmed by a BBC crew, the future Queen of England poured her heart out while revealing her illness to the public.
Prince William’s wife shared her story while delivering a message of hope to others battling cancer. According to The Daily Mail, Kate Middleton was far from ready to get vulnerable and expose herself in the video.
However, it seems that the breach at the London clinic, where nurses had attempted to obtain her medical files or the loose lips of her closest allies, sold the cancer story to the press.
Kensington Palace was contacted by several reporters who were aware of Princess Kate‘s health issues and had their pen and paper ready to write penetrating exposés on the devastating situation.
Immediately after the journalists contacted Prince William and Kate Middleton’s team for comment or denial of the story, they decided to get ahead of the matter.
The Mail said: “The Princess of Wales’s video announcement detailing her cancer treatment was rushed out by Kensington Palace aides after her diagnosis had been leaked. A well-placed source has revealed that the timing of the video has nothing to do with the speculation that would have come from her missing church on Easter morning, but instead because someone had knowledge of her health condition. Kensington Palace had been contacted about Kate’s diagnosis, leaving no option but to hurry to get ahead of the story. It is unclear as to whether the leak came from within The London Clinic, where the Princess underwent abdominal surgery in January, or from elsewhere.”
Kate Middleton, unready, unprepared, and uncomfortable, was told to face one of her biggest fears: speaking publicly about an extremely personal matter.
Royal expert, Sally Bedell Smith shared that the mother of three, amid the turmoil, showed her bravery and kindness in the rushed message.
The author claimed via PEOPLE Magazine: “She is inherently shy, and for her to do that, it took a lot. When she ended with ‘You are not alone,’ it rang a bell with something that Queen Elizabeth would have said. It was very similar to what Queen Elizabeth II said during COVID-19 when she said, ‘We are all in this together.’ She was mindful that there are very few people who read about that or watched that who don’t know someone who has cancer. She was mindful of that.”
The journalist and biographer continued: “It was a way of reassuring people not only about her condition but helping them have courage. There was not a trace of self-pity. She projected honesty. It was the right balance.”
Princess Kate can always count on the support of her numerous fans.
