Queen Elizabeth II‘s state funeral is set for Monday, with a service in Westminster Abbey that will be attended by leaders and dignitaries from across the globe.
The entire British royal family will be present to say a final goodbye and thank you to the woman who ruled over the British Monarchy for 70 years.
Prince William, as the heir to the throne, will be front and center at the church service with his wife, Kate Middleton, by his side.
Reports have emerged revealing that the Prince and Princess of Wales have been hit with the burdening request to bring Prince George to his great-grandmother’s funeral.
According to The Daily Mail, King Charles III‘s senior advisers believed having Prince George at the state funeral would send a powerful message to the world.
The goal is to have Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7, walk behind their parents during the procession.
Members of The Firm think it is crucial for the young child to reassure the British people and the globe that all is in order pertaining to the line of succession of the Monarchy now that The Queen‘s steady hand is no longer on the throne.
Since the death of Queen Elizabeth, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, have not been seen in public.
Senior Palace advisers hope that Prince William and Kate Middleton will let Prince George make a symbolic appearance at the funeral.
One insider said: “Courtiers are keen for Prince George to be at the funeral in some capacity if only to reassure the nation of the order of succession. It’s currently under discussion, and no decision has been made yet.”
Royal observers and fans are not supportive of the idea because they say Prince George is too young for such a difficult role.
They asked his grandfather, King Charles III, to intervene and protect Prince George’s innocence.

He recently moved to a new home and started a new school with his younger siblings, so asking him to play a part in the painful and daunting funeral as the world watches might be too much.
Some experts note that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took the right and appropriate decision by leaving their young children — Archie and Lilibet Diana — in California during this sad moment in the Monarchy’s history.

Prince Harry, who had the painful experience of walking behind his mother’s coffin when he was 12, has decided to shield his children from this life-changing moment.
Saturday, Prince Harry and Prince William reunited along with Queen Elizabeth’s six other grandchildren for a family vigil at Westminster Hall.
The brothers wearing military uniforms stood tall and strong, but the pain was more than visible on their faces.
