With one move, King Charles III and Prince William informed Prince Harry that none of his expectations for his upcoming trip would be met.
Over the weekend, Prince Harry confirmed that he will travel to England next month. The Duke of Sussex will be in his native country for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
In a statement, the foundation announced: “The Invictus Games Foundation will celebrate ten years of changing lives and saving lives with a ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8. We will be joined by our Patron, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, actor Damian Lewis, and members of the worldwide.”
Prince Harry will not be accompanied by Meghan Markle nor their young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to London.
Ahead of the trip, many wondered how King Charles and Prince William felt about the event and Prince Harry’s attendance. The answer is clear: King Charles and the heir to the throne have no time and patience for Prince Harry and his activities.
Staff members for King Charles and Prince William have confirmed that the men will not attend the service. King Charles is battling cancer and will be handling the businesses of the monarchy.
Prince William is caring for his sick wife, Kate Middleton, while representing the crown. The King and the heir will not be at St. Paul’s Cathedral to support Prince Harry or the event.
The Mail confirmed: “No senior members of the Royal Family are expected to join Prince Harry for the Invictus Games event in the UK. The Duke of Sussex, 39, will fly to Britain in just over a week for the first time since the Princess of Wales revealed her cancer diagnosis.”
The media outlet had another bombshell: Prince Harry would not meet with his father, brother, or sister-in-law during the trip.
The Mail shared: “Neither the Sussexes’ office nor Buckingham Palace have confirmed any plans for Harry to meet with either his brother Prince William, sister-in-law Princess Kate, or his father King Charles.”
So, will King Charles allow Prince Harry to sleep in one of his castles or homes during the visit? The answer is no. The publication revealed: “Harry will likely stay in a hotel during his stay in the UK – as he did on his previous visits — days before jetting off to Nigeria to join Meghan.”
The news will most likely strike Prince Harry in a profound, emotional way, leaving him feeling embarrassed and upset, for he recently revealed that he is eager to reconnect with his family.
