Kate Middleton and her husband have decided to give the world a glimpse into what the monarchy will be like when they are handed the throne.
The power couple has opted to be more open to the public, unlike their predecessors and relatives. This decision is significant as it reflects a modern approach to royalty, where they are more relatable and accessible to the public.
That openness began with the intimate, home movie-like video Prince William and Kate Middleton shared with viewers to announce that she had completed her chemotherapy.
The video shot on a beach and in the woods, showed a personal side of the royal couple, a departure from the traditional formal announcements.
This week, Prince William took the matter to another level by unexpectedly revealing an interesting bit about his and Princess Kate‘s bedroom routine.
While visiting the Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Callington, Prince William met Louise Harland who was accompanied by her adorable pup.
Prince William fell in love with the cocker jack and spent several minutes petting and playing with it.
While chatting with the dog’s owner, Prince William confessed that he, his wife, The Princess of Wales, and their little dog, Orla, sleep on the bed together.
Louise Harland did an interview with Hits Radio Cornwall via Daily Mail, where she shared the private conversation she had with the future King.
According to The Mail: “[He was] absolutely in love with my little dog. Jacks came and met him. And he asked what breed he was, and he’s never met one of those breeds – he’s a cocker jack – so he’s a little bit of a unique combination. He remarked on how soft her pooch’s ears were and gave him lots of love. [He] said that his little dog sleeps on the bed with them at night, with him and Kate. Prince William said his dog is exactly like this… loves cuddles.”
And just like that, the world knows that Prince William and Princess Kate happily share their bed with their beloved dog.
Some see it as a heartwarming testament to their love for their furry companion and that Prince William is doing everything to help Kate Middleton feel relaxed and comfortable as she battles cancer.
Others claimed that the pair might go into oversharing. The Prince and Princess of Wales are animal lovers. The pair were gifted their spaniel Orla from Kate Middtelon’s brother, James Middleton, in 2020.
They lost Lupo, their first spaniel, in 2020. Prince William and Middleton adopted Lupo when he was still a puppy in 2012 .
