King Charles III made the astonishing move of inviting President Donald Trump into the Commonwealth.
The Daily Mail, the publication that broke the story, claimed that King Charles believed the invitation was a way to strengthen the bonds between the US and the UK.
It is also claimed it is a shrewd decision on King Charles’s behalf to play the role of peacemaker between Trump and the multiple world leaders and important figures that he has humiliated and deeply upset with his threats to take over their countries and territories illegally.
However, according to one political expert, the invitation from His Majesty might be one of the biggest mistakes of his royal legacy.
It will take an agreement of all 56 existing member countries, including the UK, to make Trump and King Charles’s desire a reality.
However, if the US entered the international organization, it would spell pure and utter chaos for King Charles and the rest of the world.
The Commonwealth, a voluntary association of 56 countries, is a significant player in global politics, particularly in trade and development issues.
According to a geopolitical expert and debate moderator, Adam Boulton, Donald Trump would loudly and publicly push King Charles from his central role in the Commonwealth.
Trump, who has not hidden his dream of being a king-like figure, would use his entrance to declare himself leader of the 56 nations, pushing for the US to have control over these independent nations.
The journalist and television host revealed via Sky News: “He is a great disrupter, always on the lookout for the upside in any deal and with a record of turning some ideas that seemed laughable into reality.”
The piece continued: “Mr Trump would see any deal as a takeover in which he was the equal to the King and his probable successor as head of the Commonwealth. He would be likely to try to remake the organization with a so-called “White Commonwealth” dominating the other members.”
He went on to say: “The King, who has done his best to indicate support for his realm of Canada against Mr Trump’s threats, would not be happy. The legs would still be knocked out from under Canada’s resistance. All Commonwealth members would face the option of going it alone outside the alliance or bowing to Mr Trump. The US would meanwhile try to exploit old British ties to counter China’s growing influence in Africa and Asia.”
While King Charles may be blissfully unaware of this careless decision, it is the first step in Trump’s master plan to access the key to kinghood and all of its power.
If Trump succeeds in his ambitions, the balance of power in the Commonwealth and the world could shift dramatically, with the US potentially gaining significant influence over the other member nations.
