Prince William Is Entrusted With A Heavy Burden By King Charles As Prince Harry Reveals The Family’s Idiosyncrasies And Secrets

Prince Harry William Meghan Markle Oprah Winfrey Interview

As the heir to the throne, Prince William has landed some high-profile opportunities that will allow him to demonstrate weight and power to the world.

King Charles III inherited the throne in very different circumstances from his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

When Elizabeth took her father’s seat, Prince Charles was a child. King Charles has an heir in his 40s, who is married and raising three children.

Prince William is an educated globe trotter who is well versed in politics and economics, so King Charles immediately bestowed the title of Duke of Cornwall, with that comes the Duchy — the $1.3 billion royal family business composed of farmland, property, and other ventures.

Prince William was named Prince of Wales during his father’s first speech as King, where he said that he had all the confidence in the world that he was ready for the task.

Trusting that his son could deliver, King Charles entrusted him with the heavy burden of organizing the coronation of the century.

Prince William is expected to find ways to blend history and traditions while respecting the post-slavery and colonialism era.

Royal expert Catherine Pepinster appeared in the webinar titled Planning for the next Coronation and the new Reign hosted by UCL’s The Constitution Unit, and she explained that Prince William is calling the shots and will have the final say during the preparations of the coronation ceremony.

Catherine Pepinster said: “The leading figure, the person who had the real clout in 1953, was the Duke of Edinburgh. I am wondering if we might see the new Prince of Wales, Prince William, taking a similar role this time.”

She stated that Prince William would publicly show his power to obtain what he deems necessary for the grandiose event.

She added: “I suspect we will be seeing Prince William flexing his muscles here, and he will be somebody who is pushing, I think, to see the Coronation quite considerably modernized. But at the same time, I think the funeral of the Queen showed that people do respond to traditional events with a dash of modernity rather than throw the whole baby out with the bathwater.”

King Charles’s trust became more significant in the past weeks with Prince Harry‘s bombshell announcement that his tell-all book will be called Spare and will be out in January.

A source close to Prince Harry claimed the book is a “tale of family idiosyncrasies and struggles” and will contain truth bombs.

Prince William will have to pull extra weight not to be outshined by his brother and sister-in-law Meghan Markle who are masterminds at captivating the media and controlling the narrative.
