King Charles’s Path Forward For His Grandchildren

This week, it was also revealed that during his trip to the UK, Prince Harry came to a blunt and somewhat sad conclusion: his children are growing up without knowing where their father, grandparents, uncle, and cousins are from. Stunned by that realization, Prince Harry felt compelled to find a path forward so his kids could finally know their British roots.

Sources told The Sunday Times, Harry will do what is needed for Archie and Lilibet to know their second home. He will bring them back regularly to see where he grew up and meet close friends and discover their deep British heritage.

Prince Harry hopes his children will have the opportunity to meet Royal Family members and create lasting memories together.

A friend told The Sunday Times: “He’s not given up hope on bringing his family back to the UK. He wants to be able to show his children where he grew up. He wants them to know their family here. He really would like to come back to the UK much more.”

Meeting William or Kate is unlikely, but there is a slight hope King Charles III might spare 55 minutes, as he did yesterday.

While Meghan Markle has quietly moved on from the royal drama, Prince Harry continues making grand plans and aspirations for himself and his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. However, King Charles has abruptly brought him back to a more realistic reality in just 55 short minutes.

Prince Archie And Princess Lilibet’s Future Is Defined By The King

The day that Prince Harry had been hoping for for the past 18 months finally came to pass. He met with his father at Clarence House, where they had tea and, perhaps, biscuits. There was no room or time for much more because the meeting between the father and son lasted exactly 55 minutes.

It is not yet known if King Charles was whisked away in a helicopter, traveling back to Scotland, or if he will remain in London to undergo cancer treatment and undertake royal engagements.

Nonetheless, the message from His Majesty was clear during the blink-and-you-miss-it visit: they can meet, but things will never be the same. At 76, with a cancer diagnosis, King Charles is ready to overlook past words and actions, but only offers a superficial relationship—occasional meetings and small talk about the weather or children’s milestones.

His Majesty will, of course, be delighted to finally see Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet when they eventually travel to the UK, but he will not open the doors for them to have a future in the monarchy.
