Jennifer Lopez is doing what she does best, hustle hard, and accomplish great things.
This week, the actress and singer announced her latest project — a skincare line inspired by her nickname — JLo Beauty.
The businesswoman is set to roll out several products from the brand in early 2021. JLo Beauty will unveil an eight-piece skincare collection that will include a cream cleanser, multitasking serum, and wonder cream.
Lopez will also propose to her clients and fans sunscreen, eye cream, masks, and complexion booster along with a dietary supplement.
The Wedding Planner actress has appeared in a few sizzling ads where she is wearing nothing to flaunt her flawless skin and her famous curves while at it.
In a virtual interview with Vogue, the diva was asked to share the secret behind her envious glow, and she dropped a bombshell — she has always relied on olive oil.
She stated: “My mom used to say that olive oil was the cure-all for everything.” She went on to explain she has never done Botox to obtain her ageless look.
Lopez, 51, confessed that she has nothing against people who turned to the needles. In fact, she might go there one day.
The mother of two stated: “I’m not that person. I don’t have anything against people doing that; it’s just not my thing. I’m more about a natural approach to skincare … but I want [my products] to work. I want the hyaluronic acid in there. I want the things that are going to help because I don’t want to have to go to the needles at some point. I’m not saying one day I won’t, but I haven’t yet.”
Lopez shared an incident that occurred when she was 23 years old that made her understand that she does not need Botox to look young.
She revealed: “I was in my 20s, and I was dating this guy. He went to one dermatologist, and I went to another dermatologist. Basically, my dermatologist gave me a great cleanser and some sunscreen and said, ‘If you do this from now on, your skin is healthy, you’re young right now, it’s going to be great.'”
This is what her ex’s doctor told her: “She said, ‘Did you know you have a little line right here? We should start Botox.’ I mean, I had to be 23 years old, right? And I was like, ‘I’m going to pass. I didn’t like needles anyway, but the boyfriend’s like, ‘Yeah, you should start it. I do that.’ I was like, ‘No, thank you.’ And I just wonder what would’ve happened to me if I would’ve started Botox at 23, what I would look like right now. My face would be a totally different face today.”
The story went viral because Lopez has one of the most recognizable faces in the world.
Many are shocked to discover that she is an all-natural beauty. While others called Lopez a liar for her revelation.
This person called her out by saying: “Love you, JLo, so much, but you got your amazing skin from high-end skin treatments, retinol, and 1k plus skincare creams. Not from this stuff, nor will anyone else see results like what you Ave from this stuff.”
Another critic chimed in: “She doesn’t use no olive oil. She uses La Mer products on her whole body.”
Lopez was slammed by another social media user who said the following: “I do Botox facials the newest technology With all laser machines you named all I’m 50 yrs old but the reality is even we have good genes is not a way to hay the skin like Her with olive oil?? and I use medical-grade products you have to invest thousands of dollars to get that I will use on my feet for my dry food in the winter maybe I will rather buy from a company that is what it does skin and body care and bu the way all the filters don’t be fooled ladies you won’t get like Her skin.”
This fan asked Lopez: “But surely you have done some of the typical Hollywood stuff… I would trust this more if you did tell us which medical facial or enhancements you have done; I just can’t believe in 2020 that you have done literally nothing to your face, no Botox, no preventative Botox, no surgical tightening… I mean, you have millions, so it’s a bit hard to believe that you have never done anything… no offense.”
Lopez, who read the comments, decided to answer with this note: “I’m sorry, but you are wrong… I don’t use any of those. I hope@you enjoy the line! #beautyfromtheinsideout ♥️.”
The entertainer is looking at a new potential successful venture.
