Rumors Debunked
It seems that Melania Trump may not need to worry about micromanaging her son, Barron Trump, as he appears to have his priorities in order.
Earlier this year, rumors began to swirl that Barron, while at NYU, had started dating another student. An anonymous “friend” on campus told NewsNation, “Barron has a really nice girlfriend and hangs out with her a lot.”
However, sources close to Donald and Melania Trump recently spoke to PEOPLE magazine to dispel those rumors.
According to the sources, Barron spent the entire summer with his family, traveling between the White House, Mar-a-Lago, and various golf courses and resorts owned by his father.
A Summer Focused on Business
Surprisingly, Barron did not spend much time at the beach, playing golf, or even socializing with friends. Instead, an insider told PEOPLE that Barron was intensely focused on his future business ventures. The insider stated, “Barron has been actively working on his own financial interests and has spent time with others who he is involved with in that area.”
He spent the entire summer break meeting with potential business partners, developing several tech projects, and working on deals to start his own company. The source noted that at 19, Barron is extremely busy and dating is not a priority for him at this time. This assessment aligns with a previous comment from Donald Trump, who told podcast host Patrick Bet-David, “I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet.”
The Luxury Real Estate Gambit
Barron has been rapidly amassing a fortune, reportedly earning over $40 million this year from a crypto venture launched by his father.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Barron also entered the luxury real estate market, founding a firm called Trump, Fulcher & Roxburgh Capital Inc. in the summer of 2024 with two friends. The company was intended to focus on high-end properties and golf courses in western states, including Utah, Arizona, and Idaho.
However, the company was dissolved in November 2024, shortly after his father’s re-election. One of Barron’s business partners, Cameron Roxburgh, told Fox Business that “As of now, the company will not be relaunched.”
He also discussed his business plans with Newsweek saying that they “chose to dissolve the company to avoid media attention” during the election, but that they were “working out logistics” and “might relaunch” in the future.
It seems that the young Trump is making the right moves as the president continues to face agitation in his job.
