A distraught Hermeisha Robinson took to social media to say she had to face discrimination on a whole new level.

In a Facebook post that has gone viral, the mother from Missouri said she is saddened and shocked by the racist letter she received from Mantality Health.

The alarming email from the company informed her that she did not get the position.

Robinson, who had applied to become a customer service representative, was told that she could not get the job because her name is “too ghetto.”

The woman said she was hurt and angered by the insensitive message.

In her Facebook note, Robinson said she simply could not comprehend why a person would write such a vile response to a job application.

Her statement read: “I have a public service announcement to make. I am so very upset because today I received an email about a job that I applied for as a customer service representative at Mantality Health … I know I’m well qualified for the position as they have seen on my resume!”

The poor woman is now having second thoughts about her birth name.

She went on to explain: “They discriminated against me because of my name which they considered it to be ‘ghetto’ for their company! My feelings are very hurt, and they even got me second guessing my own name trying to figure out if my name is really that ‘ghetto.’”

Kevin Meuret, the owner of the company, which treats men with low testosterone, was quick to speak to the media and give a reasonable explanation about the hateful rejection letter.

Meuret said a former employee hacked the company’s system and sent out emails to about 20 people.

Meuret put out a heartfelt apology to Robinson for the pain the message caused her.

He shared, “I am a father of three daughters, and that young lady getting that (response) is horrible. That young lady opened something that must have felt like a freight train, and that’s unacceptable.”

Meuret has contacted the authorities to handle the matter. Robinson said she is actively looking for a job.

She went on to reveal that if the clinic offers her the job, she would decline because she now knows that all her private information such as Social Security number and birthday have been compromised.

At this point, the incident has made Robinson a bit depressed as she told a local media outlet: “It all just makes me not want to do anything at all. I don’t want to do anything anymore: go outside, say my name to people, anything.”

She told the reporter it is time to stop discriminating against other people. Another woman from St. Louis named Dorneshia Zachery received a similar email from the same company.
