In an interview on his podcast, NFL player Travis Kelce confessed that his huge loss on Christmas Day against the Las Vegas Raiders was the “f–king worst”.
The world was watching as Taylor Swift cheered and jumped for her man as he and the Kansas Chiefs took on the Raiders and lost in the most brutal way.
The Chiefs players were unable to hold back the emotions of disbelief, anger, and humiliation while leaving the field. Sources have revealed that Kelce’s pain and anger made it to his mansion, and it almost ruined Christmas for the power couple.
An insider told Life & Style that the athlete was frustrated and took it out on his lady love.
The source stated: “The game pretty much ruined Taylor and Travis’ holidays. Travis wasn’t himself for days after. He snapped at Taylor, and they had their first fight. He apologized after, but Taylor definitely felt hurt and confused. It was rough.”
Taylor Swift had never seen her boyfriend in that dark and angry mood and turned to Brittany Mahomes (who is married to Kelce’s QB, Patrick Mahomes) for some blunt wisdom and advice.
The family friend stated: “This is all very new for Taylor. Brittany told Taylor to “let Travis lick his wounds,” but it wasn’t easy.”
The friend now stated that Taylor Swift was a “nervous wreck” before her beau’s big New Year’s Day game, and thank goodness the Chiefs won; otherwise, it would have ruined their New Year’s Eve plans.
The person stated: “The idea of Travis losing again and having it ruin their New Year’s was so stressful.”
The rifts between the pair are starting to show. The insider went on to reveal that during the holidays, there was another source of tension — the fact that Swift has to constantly travel to support her man.
Thus far, Travis Kelce has flown twice to see Taylor Swift — once at her New York City home and the second time to see her performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has “been the one racking up the most frequent-flyer miles.”
The source shared: “It’s hard to even keep up with how many flights Taylor has taken to Kansas City to see Travis. It’s starting to take a toll on her. She’s the one bending over backward, and people are urging her to start focusing on herself more.”
Fans are hoping that Travis Kelce will not be Swift’s next breakup song.
