DJ Flume addressed his controversial video with Paige Elkington without saying much and more or less making fun of the controversy.
The “Never Be like You” music star posted a photo on Instagram where he is eating a peach, a symbol often associated with a butt.
DJ Flume from Australia took Burning Man to a new level, as he reportedly had sex while performing live on stage, together with his girlfriend, Elkington.
The video shows Elkington dancing around with her rear in the face of DJ Flume, and she captioned the video with “Sorry mom.” She could be seen wearing a purple wig while delivering the performance.
Oddly enough, the clip was taken down shortly after from her Instagram page.
It is not clear if she deleted the video herself, or if it was removed for violating Instagram’s content policies.
However, her account remains active, so there has been speculation that she may have been the one to take down the video herself.
The situation drew a lot of attention to both Elkington and DJ Flume, and many of the DJ’s fans shared words of encouragement over the act.
Others have been more reserved in their responses, claiming that the act was out of place and should not have been performed even at a Burning Man event.
Still, it is not the first time outrageous developments have happened at Burning Man, and at this point, people attending the event should be well aware of what they can expect from it.
The event has gained a lot of notoriety over the years for similar incidents, and it looks like many of the people attending are in it precisely for this aspect, so this is probably not something that will go down as a negative development in the long run.
One of her supporters stated: “This is literally the best thing I’ve seen online all year…and the fact people believed it was real takes its authenticity to the stratosphere. Well done. What’s next?‼️”
A backer of the famous DJ added: “NEVER APOLOGIZE YOU ARE A LEGEND AND IM SO PROUD I BURNED WITH YOU.”
Elkington has a new legion of fans after the video has gone viral and some of the messages are slightly over the top, which might explain why she left Instagram for now.
