Talk about too much information! Toni Braxton recently did an interview where she left no stones unturned while talking about her s*x life, her regrets in life, and why she walked away from religion.
Braxton sat down with The Guardian, where she gave an interview that forced a well-known rapper to react with the most inappropriate comment.
The “Un-Break My Heart” artist said that she regrets not fooling around with more men, partying with her friends, and even doing drugs when she was younger.
The 52-year-old mother of two made this jaw-dropping confession: “I regret not having more sex when I was younger. I should have drank more. I should have partied more. Smoked more, even. I think my religious upbringing stopped me doing a lot of things that I should have done. It’s not a good look at the age I am now. The way it works is you do that stuff in your 20s and 30s, and then in your 40s, you’ve earned enough to pay for the therapy.”
The “You Mean the World to Me” diva went on to blame her religious upbringing for all the fun she missed out in life.
Braxton shared: “When I was seven, my family became very religious. We were Jehovah’s Witnesses; we were Catholic — we tried everything before settling on United Methodist. I asked my mum once what they were searching for, and she just replied: ‘It was the ’70s.’ The ’70s were a very religious era. I think a lot of people were looking for the right path.”
The singer concluded by explaining that while she is not religious, she is spiritual. Braxton claimed: “I wouldn’t say I was religious, but I am spiritual. I believe in a greater force.”
Rapper Lil Duval surprised many by telling Braxton that this is best time to be a ho* and added: “Noooooo, you looking at this wrong. You 50 something now, so this the best time for you to be a ho*. Think about it; It’s harder for you to get pregnant, and the only disease you gotta worry catching is hepatitis from these old nigaz. This is your prime. Moral of the story, Live your best life suga. Just stick with the old nigaz tho cuz these young boys gon run thru you and f*ck up yo legacy. Love lil Duval @tonibraxton.”
Many observers say while the rapper was probably trying to be funny, he was not very respectful of what Braxton is feeling.
