Former First Lady Michelle Obama tore President Donald Trump into shreds in a new video where she spoke directly to the American people about the importance of the presidential election.
The pro-Joe Biden video entitled “Michelle Obama’s Closing Argument” almost never saw daylight because of chaotic events around Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis.
Along with the clip to voters, Obama penned a lengthy caption where she revealed that it was filmed before the president’s hospitalization.
Obama said that she was ready to hit pause on sharing her speech out of respect for Trump’s health issues, but she changed her mind after watching the madness and confusion that followed.

Trump abruptly left Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for a joy ride and exposed the secret service to the deadly virus because he wanted to see his fans.
He also returned to the White House while sick, and despite gasping for air, he removed his mask for a photo op.
Trump vowed to quickly get back on the campaign trail and told his followers, “don’t be afraid of COVID.”
According to the most recent data released by the Johns Hopkins University, more than 210,000 people have died from Covid-19 in the United States.

On her social media pages, Obama defended her decision to share the post: “I understand if the last few days have felt like a whirlwind. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this virus—from those in the White House, especially the Secret Service and residence staff whose service to this country ought never be taken for granted, to all those across the country whose names and stories most of us will unfortunately never know.
The truth is, the events of the past few days are a bracing reminder of the tragedy that has been this administration’s response to this crisis. And I’ll be very honest: This is a message I’d planned to release earlier, and after everything that’s happened, I weighed whether or not to go public at all.”
She went on to speak about Biden’s experience and empathy: “But I wanted you all to hear what’s been on my mind. Because the drama of the past few days has only emphasized what’s at stake in this election, from the coronavirus to a constant drumbeat of fear, division, and chaos that’s threatening to spiral out of control. There’s only one way we can pull ourselves out—by voting for my friend Joe Biden, who’s got the heart, the experience, and the character to lead us to better days.”
She concluded by: “So I hope you’ll watch, and I hope you’ll share this video with everyone you know who might still be deciding how or if they’re going to vote. And more than anything, I hope you’ll vote for Joe with power, with passion, and with a love of this country that cannot possibly be denied.”
Obama is one of the most popular political figures in the world at the moment.
