It is thought to have been taken this weekend while most of the Kardashian-Jenner family spent time together for Easter at their mother, Kris Jenner‘s La Quinta home in Palm Springs.
The photograph is unfiltered and is not airbrushed unlike most of the pictures of Khloé Kardashian, which are posted on social media.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians regular is often seen modeling for her clothing brand, Good American, where she sports incredibly smooth skin and impossible curves.
However, although she looked different from her promotional photos, fans of Khloé Kardashian were quick to point out that she looks great.
Some said that she should be proud of such a beautiful natural photo, while many others remarked that she looked stunning and wondered why she wanted the picture taken down.
Some social media users even said they wished they looked as good as Khloé in a bikini.
Speaking about the leaked photo, the chief marketing officer for KKW, Tracy Romulus, said that the photo was taken during a private family gathering and had been shared by an assistant by mistake but was not “authorized.”
Posts containing the photo have been reported by the Kardashians’ PR team as copyright infringement, with some social media users claiming that legal action has been threatened against them for resharing the image.
Screenshots also emerged, claiming messages had been sent by Tracy Romulus, chief marketing officer for KKW Brands, saying the image had been “stolen and doctored” and initially posted to a fake Instagram account.
Romulus said in a statement: “The color edited photo was taken of Khloé during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant. Khloé looks beautiful, but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down.”
A source has said that Khloé Kardashian does not care what people think about her airbrushed and filtered images, as long as she herself is happy.
Some experts have pointed out that all of this could be part of a big marketing ploy to grab headlines.
