A news anchor in Las Vegas was arrested and fined after police discovered her unconscious and naked in a car.

Feven Kay — whose full name is Feven Kiflegiorgis — has been working with Fox 5 news channel in Las Vegas since 2018.

She was arrested last month after police found her in a parked car wearing no clothing.

The morning weekday news reporter was reportedly in the driver’s seat of her Audi around 7:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, March 20.

According to police, the officers at the scene could smell alcohol on Feven Kay, although she refused to undergo blood testing.

She had told the police that she was not aware of how she had come to be in the Las Vegas neighborhood where they had found her alone.

Feven Kay appeared in a video on Fox 5 following the incident, where she told viewers they might have noticed her “week’s long absence” from the TV station and gave a short explanation about what had happened.

She had been arrested for driving under the influence. However, this was later decreased to reckless driving with disregard for the safety of a person or property, which is categorized as a misdemeanor.

Kay thanked the people who had “reached out to her,” offering a “sincere thank you for [their] concern.”

On April 21, she was ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 and was required to attend driving classes.

In her personal video message, Kay said the incident was a “private matter,” but she wanted to “take this time” to be transparent about it.

The video clip ended with the news reporter saying that she has “learned from the incident” and will “continue learning.”

She said: “Many of you noticed I’ve been off-air for a few weeks. To all of you who have reached out, a sincere thank you for your concern. Last month, I was arrested by Metro for driving under the influence. At the time of the arrest, I was inside a parking vehicle in a Las Vegas neighborhood alone. As I move forward, I want you to know I have learned from this, and I will continue learning, and I truly thank you for your support.”

Before joining Fox 5, Feven Kay also worked at KTLA in Los Angeles as an assignment editor, and before then, had been recruited as a news desk intern at TMZ back in 2012.
