Prince Harry has landed himself in a pickle where it is certain that Queen Elizabeth II will not intervene on his behalf.
Prince Harry made sure his Queen Elizabeth’s huge celebratory year was off to a troubling start with a lengthy statement confirming that he plans to sue the British government after he was forbidden from paying for his, Meghan Markle, and their children’s protection.
Prince Harry will be the first royal family member to challenge the government by applying for the judicial review of the Home Department’s 2021 decision not to allow him to personally pay for his security while in the UK.
In his statement, Prince Harry gave the many reasons why he is going after the government.
The Duke of Sussex said that he inherited a security risk at birth and cited the many threats from extremist groups, including “neo-Nazi and extremist threats.”
Despite his revelations and pleas, it is claimed that Queen Elizabeth will not lift a finger to help out his grandson. Her Majesty will not cave, according to a royal source.
The insider claimed that Prince Harry knew what he was getting into when he stepped down from his royal duties alongside Meghan Markle in early 2020.
According to the palace insider, the Queen, who is not a pushover, will not get involved in the matter because she does not meddle in the government’s job.
The person with insider knowledge of the situation revealed to The Sun: “It is a matter for Her Majesty’s government. Who gets protection is not a gift the Queen can decide to give or take away.”
The source went on to warn Prince Harry by letting him know that Elizabeth II would not cave to his demands.
The insider stated: “Her Majesty certainly won’t cave into his demands.”
Queen Elizabeth will certainly not attempt to interject herself in this royal row that Prince Harry is in after it was revealed that Prince Charles had previously offered a solution that was turned down.
Prince Charles wanted Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and their young children to stay with him while in England to ensure their protection, but it seems that they have declined the invitation.
Queen Elizabeth showed where she stood on the matter many years ago. She did not intervene for her only daughter, Princess Anne, to get full-time protection from the British police after she was almost kidnapped in 1974.
During the scary incident, her bodyguard and chauffeur were shot by Ian Ball, who had plotted to murder the royal.
