For several months, Jennifer Lopez has been enjoying her life with her famous boyfriend, Ben Affleck, but she is not ready to talk about the romance yet.
On Tuesday, the singer and actress did a virtual interview with anchor Hoda Kotb and movie maker Lin-Manuel Miranda to promote the re-release of their song, “Love Makes the World Go Round.”
The duo has decided to push the track for a charitable cause. The song will be made available for the fifth anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, which left 49 people dead and 53 wounded.
Lopez explained: “The song is out, five years since we’ve done it. And I believe that that message of loving one another and coming together and love is never more relevant than it is right now.”
The businesswoman, who was eager to talk about the project, was almost led astray by the veteran host who dug deep into her burgeoning relationship with the famous actor.
However, Jennifer Lopez did all she could to avoid answering Kotb’s invasive questions about her private life by being playful and giving compliments.
The host tried flattery by telling Lopez that she was radiant in photos with Ben Affleck and added: “You look happier. Look, I just have to tell you, every time I see a picture of you and Ben, I’m like, “She looks happier, she looks happier.” Are we happier?”
Lopez smiled and cleverly responded by: “I’m always happy when I see you Hoda.” The morning talk show host went on to make this remark: “Wait, it’s me you’re talking to, you know that.”
The “Jenny From The Block” singer had this perfect answer: “I know. You can call me. You have my number!”
Since reuniting in April with Affleck, the couple has been spending time a lot of time in the Hamptons, in Miami, and in Beverly Hills.
Lopez, 51, and her 48-year-old ex-boyfriend have blended their families and are said to be in a rush to move in together and start the next chapter of their lives.
A source close to the Hustlers star recently made this confession about the high-profile relationship that has captivated the world 17 years after it ended: “Their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they move in together and ultimately end up together. They’re spending all of their free time together and making each other a priority. J.Lo falls hard certainly done the same with Ben again this time around.”
The insider went on to say: “Ben is a guy’s guy and does his own thing, which J.Lo loves. He has his own life and is famous in a different way than she is and is not trying to compete with her by any means. They just support and love each other.”
For observers, Jennifer Lopez is glowing. She previously dated baseball legend Alex Rodriguez, and they were even planning to get married before canceling the wedding twice because of the coronavirus pandemic.
