King Charles III has reached the point of no return with his youngest son and daughter-in-law.
The King recently marked a significant milestone, humbly celebrating his 76th birthday.
The Sovereign chose a simple, low-key celebration with close friends and family, including Prince William, Queen Camilla, and his grandchildren.
King Charles used the big day to highlight an important matter — helping those in need. The Monarch volunteered his time at a food bank to feed those needing a meal.
Royal sources close to King Charles told Vanity Fair that despite going through one of the most challenging years, he is “happier than he has ever been and is grateful for the opportunity to carry out his work.”
His Majesty underwent major surgery for an enlarged prostate, and almost immediately after, it was discovered that he had cancer.
The treatment took a toll on King Charles in the first few months, forcing him to slow down and cut back from work.
An insider told the media outlet: “What’s happened since the King’s last birthday is incredible. No one had any idea of the challenges that would lie on a personal and a family level. It’s been a year of highs and lows.”
Gradually, the King regained his strength and returned to work. He undertook his first royal tour abroad and plans to make up for lost time next year with a full workload.
As he celebrates his birthday, His Majesty is not letting his health issues deter him from his duties. He is determined to be seen doing his business and doing what he loves.
To maintain his focus and happiness, King Charles has made a conscious decision to distance himself mentally and physically from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
There have been no reports this year of Prince Harry and Markle reaching out publicly or privately to King Charles on his special day.
That is because His Majesty is no longer accepting calls from the pair.
For King Charles’s 75th birthday, Prince Harry and Markle made a kind gesture that was immediately leaked to the media.
Since then, King Charles has taken draconian measures to protect his privacy.
According to Express: “Prince Harry reportedly recorded a sweet video of the children singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to their grandfather during the call, which was later leaked to the press. The Sussex camp was accused of leaking details of the private conversation.”
According to The Daily Mail‘s royal editor, Rebecca English, the move “was considered to have crossed a line.”
She revealed: “A deeply private call between the King and his grandchildren ends up in a newspaper the next day. Really?’ another source said, emphasizing how much this was considered to have crossed a line.”

King Charles is turning the page.
