In a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle‘s husband explained that he was going through a tough hurdle with his older brother.
Via Prince Harry’s close friend, Gayle King, it was confirmed that the duo is barely talking, and the friendship that once existed between them has soured.
Prince Harry said that his brother was “trapped” in the English Monarchy and that they were “on a different path.”
Many believed that the rift between Prince Charles‘s sons began after “Megxit” and escalated with the controversial Oprah interview where many accusations and were dropped.
However, royal experts say that the root of the problem can be traced to a heated conversation that dates back to before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big lavish wedding.
And it is being claimed that Prince William said something that led to the “beginning of the breakdown” of their relationship during the exchange. A royal expert is now speculating that Prince William has regretted saying the words.
It was revealed that the Duke of Cambridge, who was concerned that the romance was moving too fast, said the following, according to the biography Finding Freedom.
Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote: “Don’t feel you need to rush this. Take as much time as you need to get to know this girl.” The authors explained that phrase “this girl” immediately bothered Prince Harry.
Royal expert Katie Nicholls recently said the following about Prince William’s big regret: “William probably does have a major regret over the conversation that he had with his brother around the time of the engagement when Harry and Meghan got engaged.”
