Prince Charles Might Follow In Queen Elizabeth’s Footsteps And Make This Selfless Sacrifice For Prince William

Prince Charles William Queen Elizabeth Burden Of Duty As King

Prince Charles has decided to protect his son, Prince William, and his wife by making an unmeasurable sacrifice.

Just like his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who decided never to abdicate the throne, Prince Charles would remain King until his last breath because he does not want to place the burden of the monarchy on his son’s shoulders.

Prince Charles plans to make an immense sacrifice for Prince William’s well-being

Prince Charles is in the books for being the oldest and the longest-serving heir apparent in British history.

Queen Elizabeth’s oldest son has been waiting to become King of England since 1952. When Elizabeth II is no longer Queen, Prince Charles will inherit the British Monarchy.

Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are hugely popular in England and worldwide.

The young and vibrant couple is seen as fresh blood with new perspectives that would benefit the old and somewhat outdated British Monarchy.

Many believe that handing them the key to the kingdom would lead to some needed changes. They would modernize the institution, pushing it to adapt to this modern-day society.

However, a former staff member of the royal family has revealed that Charles, Prince of Wales, like his mother, will never step down from his role.

The Duke of Cornwall‘s no abdication policy is not linked to his love of power. It is tied to a sense of sacrifice.

Prince Charles will do everything possible to avoid passing the burden of duty attached to being King onto his oldest son and, subsequently, his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold told GB news: “I have been asked this question many times by many friends, do I think it’s possible that Prince Charles decides to not take on the position of King and step aside to pass on Prince William.”

He added: “I actually believe we would not see that happen because Prince Charles is very traditional. He wants to follow the tradition of the Monarchy which means when the time comes, I hope its many many years away when the Queen is no longer with us, then he would then take on and I think in a way it’s also being inside and witnessing how difficult it can be the schedule, the job as such.”

Prince Charles, who has had a front-row seat to Queen Elizabeth’s 70-year reign, knows heavy is the head that wears the crown and plans to protect Prince William until his last breath from that burden.

The royal expert shared: “I don’t think it’s something he would want to pass on to his son until he is no longer there. I think he would want to obviously take that keep Did I use the word ‘burden’ take that burden and not let it be passed on until he is no longer with us, and it has to be passed on.”

The revelation of Prince Charles’s decision to spare William the burden of duty was made public around the same time that Prince William opened up like never before about the stress that he went through while working as an air ambulance helicopter pilot.

Prince William, unlike other prior male heirs, is a modern man who bares his soul and discusses the mental issues he has been dealing with.

Appearing in a brief film, Prince William spoke about his burden of duty, the toll it took on him, and his decision to protect Kate Middleton and their young children.

Prince William, who worked as an air ambulance helicopter pilot, teamed up with first responders to shed light on the struggles and challenges they face.

The royal explained that he avoided sharing some of the horrific events he witnessed with his wife and added: “When I was in the air ambulance, any job I went to with children, that really affected me — much more than if I hadn’t had children actually. So, for me, it was the relation of my personal life with the family or the incident I was at. I found that very difficult. There were a number of times when I had to take myself away because I was just getting too involved in it, and feeling it.”

He went on to say: “I also remember returning home with the stresses and strains of the day weighing on my mind and wanting to avoid burdening my family with what I had seen.”

Prince William concluded by: “Going to talk to someone else after the event was really important. But it continues — it doesn’t leave you there. You just manage it better.”

Royals have rarely been so honest about their feelings.
