The same week that Meghan Markle decided to use her voice and share her truths about certain events that occurred while she was a working royal, some version of the truth about what caused Prince William and Prince Harry to drift apart was shared.
A new documentary that will air on the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana‘s death on French TV has decided to also focus on her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
The royal experts in the special did a deep dive into the incidents that apparently took place in The Palace walls that led to blow-ups, fights, and arguments between the heir to the throne and his younger brother.
These royal commentators believe some of these events pushed Prince Harry and Markle to step down from their royal duties and move to California.
According to the documentary, Prince Harry and Prince William butted heads over his decision to marry Markle on multiple occasions.
It has been revealed that during one particularly heated exchange, the brothers let their boiling anger get the best of them and made some rather embarrassing decisions.
The two siblings had a bitter telephone call where they attempted to discuss the claims that Meghan Markle had bullied staff members.
The exchange took a dramatic turn with Prince Harry slamming down the phone and hanging up on Prince William.
Enraged by Prince Harry’s action, Prince William allegedly jumped into a car and drove to his brother’s home to confront him.
According to the investigative documentary called Red Line: William and Harry, the enemy brothers via The Mirror: “During 2018, there was indeed a spate of resignations among Meghan Markle’s team. Former members have even set up an informal group called the Sussex Survivors’ Club. Some of them still remain traumatized.”
Pierrick Gerais, a royal author, who has written a book about the Duke of Cambridge, appeared in the program to share more details about the embarrassing incident: “William, who already didn’t like his sister-in-law very much, became furious. He called Harry directly, and Harry slammed the phone down. Harry didn’t want to know anything, and so William jumped in a car towards Kensington Palace, where he was going to confront Prince Harry.”
Valentine Low, The Times royal correspondent, also appeared in the documentary, saying: “There was a person who was so terrified by a conversation she was about to have with Meghan that she said, ‘I feel sick. Some of these young women have been broken.”
The bullying claims were first shared via an email in late 2018 by Jason Knauf, former communications secretary to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Knauf sent the email to Simon Case, the Duke of Cambridge’s then-private secretary.
The Knauf email reads: “I am very concerned that the Duchess had been bullying and harassing two personal assistants, to the extent that she provoked their resignation during the course of the last year.”
The documentary claims: “The Duchess seems intent on always having someone as a target. She’s bullying Y and seeking to undermine her confidence. We have had report after report from people who have been witnessing this unacceptable behavior towards Y.”
In mid-2022, the investigation ordered by Queen Elizabeth into Markle’s bullying accusations wrapped up.
Her Majesty shocked the world by deciding to never release the findings to the public to protect Markle and the victims.
