Melania Trump Slams President Joe Biden After Controversial Leaked Photos

Melania Trump Fox News Interview Joe Biden Baby Formula

Former First Lady Melania Trump sat down for her first interview since leaving the White House. She took the opportunity to destroy President Joe Biden for mishandling the national baby formula shortage.

Former President Donald Trump‘s wife appeared on Fox & Friends Weekend for a lengthy chat with host Pete Hegseth where she tackled various topics.

The former model turned businesswoman spoke about the possibility of Donald Trump running for president again in 2024. She hit back for being snubbed out of multiple Vogue covers.

Melania Trump made sure that the date of her big return to the spotlight coincided with a painful crisis involving mothers across the country pleading with the Biden administration to resolve the shortage of baby formula.

In reference to the images that have flooded social media and the news showing mothers in dire need of formula standing in front of empty aisles in supermarkets, Melania Trump said it was “heartbreaking” to see.

She was also quick to blame the lack of leadership in the White House for the situation. The ex glamour cover girl made this remark: “It’s heartbreaking to see that they are struggling and the food is not available for children in the 21st century, in the United States of America.”

The TV host asked the former first lady of the United States, “why’s it happening?” Melania Trump responded by saying, “leadership.”

She shared her thoughts and feelings about the current state of affairs in the United States since her husband, President Donald Trump, lost the election in 2020.

Melania Trump painted a dire picture by saying: “I think it’s sad to see what’s going on if you really look deeply into it. I think a lot of people are struggling and suffering, and what is going on around the world as well. So it’s very sad to see, and I hope it changes fast.”

The interview comes just days after many Republicans slammed Biden for not taking action quickly enough to provide help to babies in need.

A series of photos shared by Rep. Kat Cammack created even more controversies around the matter.

The Florida Republican took to social media and shared a photo that showed dozens of boxes of baby formula at a migrant processing facility near the US-Mexico border that is intended for families entering the country with babies.

Cammack said the photos of the “pallets” of infant formula were taken at the Ursula Migrant Processing Center in McAllen, Texas, and explained: “The first photo is from this morning at the Ursula Processing Center at the U.S. border. Shelves and pallets packed with baby formula. The second is from a shelf right here at home. Formula is scarce. This is what America last looks like.”

She continued: “It is not the children’s fault at all. But what is infuriating to me is that this is another example of the ‘America Last’ agenda the Biden administration continues to perpetuate.”

The baby formula shortage occurred because of a large recall by Abbott Nutrition in February 2022 due to bacterial contamination at a Michigan factory.

It is believed that two babies may have died from the contaminated products.

Biden got into a war of words with reporters who asked him if he could have addressed the shortage more quickly.

Asked if he could have taken steps sooner, President Biden replied: “If we’d been better mind-readers, I guess we could have. But we moved as quickly as the problem became apparent to us. And we have to move with caution as well as speed because we got to make sure what we’re getting is, in fact, a first-rate product. That’s why the FDA has to go through the process.”

The president went on to say: “I think we’re going to be in a matter of weeks or less getting significantly more formula on shelves. And the FDA has also made sure we can import and still maintain the high safety standards.”

The White House has confirmed that the Food and Drug Administration will take measures to make it possible to import formula quickly to ease the crisis.
