If the reports are correct, Taylor Swift is getting ready to shake the music world with a controversial song.
Sources close to the pop star have revealed to The Sun that Swift recorded a track with rapper Drake that will send tongues wagging.
According to the British publication, the track focuses on the ongoing drama between Swift, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West.
The song was initially recorded in 2017 for the album Reputation, but it was deemed too direct and was therefore kept in a vault.
Fast forward to 2022 when Taylor Swift is back in the studio recording the Reputation (Taylor’s Version) album after her massive legal and public fights with well-known talent manager Scooter Braun.
Braun has purchased the rights to Taylor Swift’s first six albums, and she has decided to re-record them.
According to reporter Simon Boyle, the song with Drake is very blunt, and Taylor Swift shares her true feelings about the feud between herself, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian.
A music insider stated: “Taylor has pivoted her focus to re-recording Reputation, and she has come across this song she made with Drake, which never saw the light of day.”
The person went on to say: “She knows that everyone is going to think it is about Kimye because it was her row with them which inspired a lot of Reputation.”
The person confirmed that Swift did not hold back on the track and added: “But this one is far more direct than the other songs, which was why they didn’t decide to release it in the first place. It’s no secret that both Taylor and Drake have had tumultuous relationships with Kanye, so they didn’t hold back when it came to recording.”
Here is the timeline of the bitter feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift. The drama between Swift and West started in September 2009 during the MTV Video Music Awards.
Swift took the stage to accept the Best Female Video award for the song “You Belong with Me,” and a drunk West rushed to the stage and grabbed the mic, interrupting her with the following now infamous words: “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!”
The whole world reacted to the wild moment with then-President Barack Obama calling West a “jackass” for what he did.
A few days later, West appeared on Jay Leno and apologized to Taylor Swift by saying: “It was rude, period. I don’t try to justify it ’cause I was in the wrong. Dealing with the fact that I hurt someone or took anything away, you know, from a talented artist – or from anyone – because I only wanted to help people. My entire life, I’ve only wanted to do and give something that I felt was right, and I immediately knew in this situation that it was wrong.”
In September 2010, Swift hit West with the song “Innocent,” where she quietly called him out.
Wait it's legit National Snake Day?!?!?They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days! 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍

That same month West took back his apology. In 2012, the artists made peace at the Costume Institute Gala.
The following year West attacked Swift in the New York Times by saying that he was forced to apologize and he did not regret what he did to her.
In 2015 at the VMAs, West and Swift made peace again. The country singer and songwriter presented West with the Video Vanguard Award.
In 2016, West’s song “Famous” dropped and caused drama because it featured the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West claimed that Taylor Swift heard the “Famous” lyrics and initially approved and later changed her mind.
The rapper said: “I called Taylor and had an hour-long convo with her about the line, and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings.”
Swift denied it. Kardashian stated that Swift was lying and added: “She totally approved that, and she wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t. I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”
Kim Kardashian then caused more chaos by revealing that Kanye West had secretly recorded the telephone conversation where he shared the controversial lyrics with Taylor Swift.
She said: “And then they sent an attorney’s letter like ‘Don’t you dare do anything with that footage,’ and asking us to destroy it.”
The video for “Famous” was released. It featured a naked Talyor Swift lookalike in bed with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Donald Trump, Caitlyn Jenner, George W. Bush, Anna Wintour, Ruby Rose, Ray J, and Bill Cosby lookalikes.
In 2017, Swift dropped the album Reputation with the hit song “Look What You Made Me Do” where she obliterated West and Kardashian with these lyrics: “I don’t like your little games / Don’t like your tilted stage / The role you made me play / Of the fool / No, I don’t like you.”
In 2019, Swift started back the fight by calling West and Kardashian bullies in an interview in Elle Magazine.
That same year, Taylor Swift appeared in Vogue, where she revealed that Kim Kardashian “changed her life” and continued: “A mass public shaming, with millions of people saying you are quote-unquote canceled, is a very isolating experience. I don’t think there are that many people who can actually understand what it’s like to have millions of people hate you very loudly. When you say someone is canceled, it’s not a TV show. It’s a human being. You’re sending mass amounts of messaging to this person to either shut up, disappear, or it could also be perceived as Kill yourself.”
In 2020, the video conversation between Kanye West and Taylor Swift finally leaked, and it seemed that the singer was telling the truth.
Kim Kardashian was quick to respond to the leak with this message: “Taylor Swift has chosen to reignite an old exchange – that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now. I didn’t feel that need to comment a few days ago, and I’m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I’m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying.”
The Kardashians star added: “To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that “Kanye never called to ask for permission…” They clearly spoke, so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word “bitch” was used without her permission. At the time when they spoke, the song had not been fully written yet. Still, as everyone can see in the video, she manipulated the truth of their actual conversation in her statement when her team said she “declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.”
The billionaire fashion mogul went on to defend her controversial ex-husband: “The lie was never about the word bitch, it was always whether there was a call or not and the tone of the conversation. I never edited the footage (another lie) – I only posted a few clips to Snapchat to make my point, and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative.”
She concluded by: “To add, Kanye, as an artist, has every right to document his musical journey and process, just like she recently did through her documentary. Kanye has documented the making of all his albums for his personal archive. However, has never released any of it for public consumption, and the call between the two of them would have remained private or would have gone in the trash had she not lied and forced me to defend him. This will be the last time I speak on this because, honestly, nobody cares. Sorry to bore you all with this. I know you are all dealing with much more serious and important matters.”
In 2022, Taylor Swift hints at dropping a song with Drake that reveals the truth about her lengthy feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
