In a profoundly personal moment during his new documentary on homelessness, Prince William shared his memories of his late mother, Princess Diana, taking him and Prince Harry to help those in need.
Prince William said: “My mother took me to the Passage, she took Harry and I both there… I’d never been to anything like that before and I was a bit anxious as to what to expect.”
He added: “My mother went about her usual part of making everyone feel relaxed and having a joke with everyone…I remember having some good conversation, playing chess and chatting.You meet people, like I did then, who put a different perspective in your head.”
As reported by The Daily Mail, Middleton was the one thinking about her father-in-law, 75, and battling cancer, when she pushed Prince William to make a move toward his younger brother.
Princess Kate, now a symbol of hope and resilience, made the call because she firmly believes that King Charles deserves the special moment of seeing his sons reunited and possibly reconciling, especially given his battle with cancer.
The outlet reports: “Kate was very much behind William’s olive branch and has spent more time recently encouraging him to do more in her bid to heal their rift. Kate’s desperate for them to make up and feels the feud has continued for too long.”
Prince Harry has confessed to wanting to be with his family and is stunned and eternally grateful that his sister-in-law is trying to make a miracle happen for His Majesty.
While Markle is not eager to return to the UK, she wants what is best for her husband, and if Princess Kate can deliver it, she will begrudgingly accept it.
