It seems that after landing in California after Queen Elizabeth II‘s funeral, one of the first big moves that Prince Harry made was to request a meeting with his publishing company.
Meghan Markle‘s husband was paid the large sum of $20 million for the tell-all memoir that was supposed to hit bookshelves physically and digitally in late 2022.
However, the death of Queen Elizabeth meant it was a time for mourning, family unity, and reflection. Prince Harry made the right move of pushing back the release date of the memoir to the spring of 2023.
Prince Harry has about six months before readers get their hands on his royal exposé, and he plans to use that time wisely.
It has been reported that Prince Harry is not only revising his book to remove revelations that might be too insensitive, but he is also adding one last chapter.
If the information that surfaced is accurate, King Charles III will be doing some serious and unpleasant reading around Easter.
The former soldier will share stories and revelations about private and rather uncomfortable moments in England during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.
According to royal expert and The Daily Mail‘s Diary Editor Richard Eden, some of the closed-door events will come to light.
And one of those incidents involved King Charles III denying Prince Harry a privilege given to Prince Andrew.
The royal commentator said he had spoken to a reliable source in the publishing world which confirmed that Prince Harry is adding new material to the memoir.
Eden revealed: “Jeffrey Archer, well-connected in the published world, is saying that Harry is writing a new chapter completely. We’ve had all these stories about whether the book will be delayed or whether there will be changes.”
The royal author believes that Prince Harry will share his feelings about being snubbed in a very public manner by King Charles.
The Soverign left Prince Harry heartbroken with his decision to remove the Queen’s “ER” initials from the shoulder of his military uniform for a vigil inside the Palace of Westminster.
Prince Harry, who did two tours of duty in Afghanistan, was further hurt to see Prince Andrew, who caused the royal family so much shame by being embroiled in the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal, allowed to keep the royal cypher.
Eden revealed that Prince Harry: “From what he was saying, it will be dealt with by a new chapter that will be on the Queen’s funeral and the events surrounding it. It will give him a chance to address those stories about him being offended by not being able to wear his uniform and then not having the ER letters on his epaulets.”
At the time, a friend of The Duke of Sussex told The Sunday Times: “He is heartbroken. To remove his grandmother’s initials feels very intentional.”
Prince Harry might be all about sharing his journey.
