King Charles Fearful Of The Risk Of Giving Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Children Titles

As the new Sovereign, King Charles III has many privileges, responsibilities, and multiple tests to pass.

One of them is how he handles the complicated situation with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

According to one royal expert, King Charles has to walk a delicate thread when reconciling with the couple.

He is also forced to perform a firm yet graceful dance while deciding on the titles rightfully owed to his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet Diana.

Several sources close to King Charles have revealed that he is inclined to bestow the titles to Prince Harry and Markle’s children. Still, he is hesitant because his actions can have tremendous consequences for the royal family.

According to royal author Duncan Larcombe, King Charles is uneasy with the fact that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer working royals and are busy “building a brand” overseas.

Yet, they take advantage of their ties to the Royal Family whenever it is necessary.

Prince Harry and Markle use their celebrity/royal status to captivate the highest bidders to land major contracts, which is not a good look for Buckingham Palace.

The commentator told Fox News: “The brand is focused almost entirely on their link with the British royal family. So it makes a huge difference, commercially, given they’re after the highest bidder, with most of their enterprises … if it’s Meghan Markle whose daughter Lilibet is princess.”

It is believed that King Charles is fearful that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet might enjoy all the benefits of having the prestigious titles, including proper security, without ever being working members of the royal family.

Like Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles does not think that royals can have one foot in the monarchy and the other in the independent world with careers.

Larcombe stated: “Imagine 15, 20 years time, and you’ve got Princess (Lilibet) and Prince Archie charging around L.A., having never really participated in any meaningful way in royal life, and yet because they’re prince and princess: What they do, what they get up to, who they hang around with, will have an impact on the reputation on the wider family.”

King Charles is weighing all options before taking that major risk.

The expert added: “They’re cute, cuddly kids now, but goodness knows what might happen. I’m not saying Archie and Lilibet are going to be scandalous. I’m simply saying that there is a risk of having a high-profile called prince and princess because they’re royals when they’re not actually part of that in any way, shape, or form, other than they just happen to be related to the British royal family.”

It will be up to Prince Harry and Markle to put King Charles’s unease to rest to secure the titles for their children.
