Meghan Markle is slowly marching forward with her second act after many years as an actress and a brief stint as a working royal.
The mother of two has launched her American Riviera Orchard brand. After unveiling the business’s Instagram account and website, Markle contacted 50 influential and famous public figures, including Kris Jenner and Christy Teigen, to sample her homemade strawberry jam and hopefully promote the sweet spread via their social media accounts.
The burgeoning businesswoman has been searching for the best CEO for her newly launched company. According to the trademark filings, Prince Harry‘s wife has grand ambitions.
Meghan Markle’s business vision is as diverse as her life experiences. She is exploring various product lines, from personal care to home and gardening, a strategy that some experts say would make her millions.
Markle’s cooking show for Netflix is already stirring up excitement and a bit of drama, as she is set to feature a diverse range of impressive celebrities and cuisine enthusiasts, sharing their expertise in creating the perfect meal.
As Markle is working on her grand rollout, she is reminded of her past as a working Royal Family member.
A past that the former actress would prefer to forget. Slowly but surely, Markle’s heavy bullying dossier is being leaked to the media.
Last week, Markle got a taste of the nightmare scenario because of Samantha Cohen. Cohen, who had worked as Queen Elizabeth II‘s press secretary for 17 years, was assigned to Meghan Markle and decided to conduct her first interview in an Australian newspaper.
The former royal aide, who is known as “Samantha the Panther,” confirmed that she is one of 10 courtiers interviewed over claims that Meghan Markle bullied Palace staff.
Historian Valentine Low, in his book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, states, “Cohen resigned after being treated harshly and likening the job to ‘working with teenagers.”
Royal experts believe that Cohen’s interview is a small step forward but significant and can open the door to other testimony and interviews from the remaining courtiers who said that Markle bullied them.
In an interview with Fox News, royal expert Hilary Fordwich explained that Markle’s former aide’s conveniently timed revelations might “cast a dark shadow over” her new business venture.
The royal commentator revealed: “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. There have been too many examples of the ‘Sussex Survivors Club’ for the allegations not to be true. … In contrast, no such report has ever been raised regarding Kate Middleton. Ask her family’s butcher from when she was a little girl growing up.”
Cohen’s role in the allegations and her credibility could significantly impact the public’s perception of Markle and the bullying claims.
