This is Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s world, and King Charles III happens to live in it.
King Charles has some big plans to save the monarchy that is slowly losing credibility and influence. He wants to modernize it and expose it to the world with lengthy tours.
His Majesty is hoping to reach as many Britons as possible with royal engagements and via public events in the royal castles.
King Charles is also hoping to give the monarchy a boost against the numerous protests from Republicans who say the era of paying for the royals’ lavish lifestyles is over.
However, Prince William and Kate Middleton have confirmed that they have other priorities — raising their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The couple has decided that they will put the well-being of their three children first. According to a new report, the heir to the throne and his wife claimed they had received direct permission from the late Queen Elizabeth II to make the happiness of their young children the most important part of their lives.
Reliable sources, who spoke to PEOPLE Magazine insist that they have been authorized by the Queen to break the mold and become hands-on parents.
It is a known fact that Prince William and Kate Middleton organize their “work schedule” around their children’s schooling and not the other way around.
Middleton is adamant and will not take part in royal engagements if they interfere with her dropping and picking up her children from school.
The future King and Queen of England have refused to take part in a lengthy “world tour” to represent the monarchy if it implies leaving their children in London with nannies.
Speaking of nannies, since Prince William and Kate Middleton moved into their modest Adelaide Cottage, they have decided that there will be no staff members living there.
The source stated that Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, are determined not to repeat the mistakes made by other members of the Royal Family.
PEOPLE revealed: “While Queen Elizabeth and King Charles were largely raised by governesses, the Prince and Princess of Wales have taken a more hands-on approach when it comes to Prince George’s upbringing. The couple consciously set out to achieve a sense of normality.”
A close friend of the couple told the media outlet: “And it was a family decision to do so — Prince William and Princess Kate were expressly given permission by Queen Elizabeth and then-Prince Charles to focus on family above royal duties. Royal families over the generations haven’t had the chance to get those foundations right, but they have.”
Kate Middleton and Prince William’s decision to stay close to their children has major consequences for the monarchy.
Poll numbers confirmed that affection and support for the British monarchy have dwindled since the passing of Queen Elizabeth.
And King Charles and Queen Camilla who are viewed as two senior citizens. The pair cannot command the respect and love that could boost the monarchy.
This is why Middleton and Prince William are desperately needed to step up and help the deflating institution, but they will not, and that is a problem for King Charles.
I think that William and Kate are doing the right thing being seen to look after and bring up their children as do normal parents I think that the british public like the fact that they don’t spend all their time running around the world in a lap of luxury while other people look after their children 70 year’s ago it was the done thing for the rich and famous to farm out their children into others while they done nothing but times have changed and the royals need to change with it and by being like William and Kate the ordinary person in the street can relate to them it’s great to see their children behaving like normal kids do and not being stuck up there for people to just look at well done the pair of them and I think that they will make a great king and queen when their turn comes and I think that the british public will be fully behind them because of the way they are as normal as they can be and always got time for the Joe blogs down the road
