Many are upset at talk host Hoda Kotb for revealing some rather personal information about her co-host, Jenna Bush Hager.
This week, things went almost too far on an episode of TODAY with Hoda and Jenna, where Kotb, without any prompt, revealed to the world that the former first daughter does not wear underwear.
The daughter of former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush seldom wears panties.
She goes commando at professional and public events. It is unknown if Hoda Kotb asked Jenna Bush Hager beforehand if she could share such a personal matter with a live audience in the studio and millions of viewers at home.
The TV veteran looked into the camera and confessed that she was stunned to discover that her colleague forgoes panties.
The TODAY Show host explained that she recently discovered Bush’s little secret and added: “I was a little surprised because Jenna and I know a lot about each other.”
Hoda Kotb was not done sharing too much information about the author and journalist.
Kotb explained that she learned of Bush Hager’s love for wearing nothing under her clothes right before the show’s taping.
She added: “I was just a little shocked when I noticed.”
Bush Hager appeared humiliated by the conversation but put on a brave face to defend her choice.
The news personality said: “I think it makes a more pretty silhouette! I also think you don’t have to pack as much. There are a lot of pros to it!”
Bush Hager called out Hoda Kotb for sharing her secret. She stated: “You promised me you wouldn’t do this! There are a lot of people here! I’m sure my mom has never been more proud.”
The former first daughter told Kotb that she has to wash her clothes often for the obvious reason — hygiene.
She stated: “Yes, I do.’ But it’s also not like I’m sharing your jeans with you. Though I do steal Savannah [Guthrie]’s pants on occasion. And I do want to borrow that red suit of yours. Can I?”
Kotb responded by saying: “Yes, you can, anytime.” Bush Hager laughed and said: “I’ll wear underwear.”
Many took to social media to say it was way too much information from Kotb and Bush Hager.
Some slammed Kotb for meddling and talking on TV about Bush Hager’s intimacy.
And there were tons of questions about going commando while menstruating — the answer is — tampons.
