Exiting Buckingham Palace’s war room, King Charles III and Prince William have taken the unique approach of being sangfroid, which means that they will have a “cold-blooded” attitude regarding Prince Harry‘s upcoming book.
On January 10, Prince Harry will publish his highly anticipated tell-all memoir Spare.
Before dropping the book, he will sit down with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, as well as with ITV’s Tom Bradby, for two extraordinary interviews where he will take aim at his family and the monarchy.
By all accounts, the book will paint a harsh portrait of the royals and the monarchy. The general consensus is that the book will be nastier than the Netflix series and the Oprah Winfrey interview.
A newly released report from The Times said the book “is widely expected to be even more inflammatory than the couple’s [Harry & Meghan] Netflix series.”
The book “includes claims about the monarchy that are more incendiary than those made in the Netflix series.”
Aware of the humiliating bombs coming their way, during the month of January, the royals have adopted the strategy of remaining poised under pressure.
Royal expert Katie Nicholl told OK! Magazine that Meghan Markle‘s husband will feature some brutal bombshells in the book because he has to give the publication its money’s worth and a bestseller.
She stated: “A lot has been left on a cliffhanger, and there is a £35m book deal here, so don’t underestimate the couple or their capacity to surprise and throw in a few more bombs just when you thought there were no more.”
Nicoll then explained that no matter how many attacks The Duke of Sussex lays — they are unlikely to faze royals.
She revealed: “I don’t think the royal family is terrified by anything, least of all of what is going to come next in Harry’s autobiography—but concerned, apprehensive? Yes. Ready to respond? Quite possibly. Wearied by all of this? Absolutely.”
The commentator went on to say that Prince William, who is angry, would be the one to take the bitter blows from the 416-page book personally.
She also stated: “[William] will be taking this very personally. I think tempers are flaring; tempers are high. There’s a lot of tension…anger, and resentment.”
A close friend of Prince William confirmed that after the series and the book, there are no hopes for a reconciliation and added: “Things have been very strained for a while. There is sadness at where things currently are with his brother…and there’s a memoir coming.”
Another close friend of Prince William shared: “The whole thing is mad.”
King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort, have started to erase Prince Harry and Markle from the family ahead of the arrival of the revenge book.
