Donald Trump Is Brutally Knocked Out By Mike Pence

Since launching his third presidential bid, Donald Trump has seen the welcome mat pulled out under him by almost all top members of his party.

Many veterans GOP members say they have spotted Trump’s weakness — he is too controversial and does not represent true conservatism.

These same Republicans point to the fact that Trump is no longer the almighty powerful kingmaker he once was.

The disastrous 2022 midterm elections proved that Trump could no longer pick winnable candidates. The Trump brand is now too toxic for many right-leaning personalities and voters.

The billionaire is associated with the mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic, the January 6 United States Capitol attack, and many more scandals that have rocked American politics in the past five years.

Trump’s streak of bad luck in the political arena has pushed the Washington establishment, including Chris Christie, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, and big donors, to throw him under the bus after he announced his candidacy.

Now, Trump’s former friend Vice President Mike Pence has joined the choir of discord.

During an appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box, the former Governor of Indiana was asked: “if the GOP should nominate someone other than the former president next year.”

The former VP did not hesitate to deliver a brutal blow to Donald Trump with his answer.

He said: “I think we’re going to have better choices [than Donald Trump].”

Pence further knocked Trump down off the MAGA pedestal by blaming him for the failed results of the 2022 elections.

According to the seasoned politician, Trump convinced many candidates to push his wild theory that Joe Biden stole the presidency via a rigged election.

Pence stated: “Our candidates that were focused on the past, particularly on relitigating the last election, did not do well, including in areas that we should have done very well.”

The politician went on to focus on the business that matters to his party — policies that will appeal to Republican voters in 2024.

The author stated: “I’m glad to see the Republican majority saying we need to use this debt ceiling to start us back in the direction of fiscal discipline, but look, we all know where the real issue is in terms of long-term debt.”

During the interview, Pence decided to praise the de facto leader of the Republican Party, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, who wants to tackle the debt ceiling and reform Medicare and Social Security.

He shared: “I respect the speaker’s commitment to take Social Security and Medicare off the table for the debt ceiling negotiations. We’ve got to put them on the table in the long term. We’re looking at a debt crisis in this country over the next 25 years that is driven by entitlements, and nobody in Washington, D.C., wants to talk about it.”

Former President Donald Trump has not answered Mike Pence, for he was busy cleaning up yet another political mess.

The real estate mogul traveled to East Palestine, Ohio, to talk to locals after the horrific train derailment that spewed toxic chemicals.

Trump slammed Biden for mishandling the situation. He neglected to mention that his administration ended regulations put in place by Barack Obama that could have prevented the derailment.

According to CNN: “Trump ended a 2015 Obama-era regulation mandating for trains carrying large volumes of flammable liquids like crude oil to have advanced brakes and speed restrictions – put in place after a number of deadly derailments.”

Trump arrived in Ohio with water with his name stamped on the bottles, and he visited a McDonald’s outlet where he purchased meals for first responders and gleefully boasted that he knew the menu better than all the employees.

Trump promised the Ohioans that he would fight for them if he made it to the White House again.
