Taylor Swift had many fans concerned that her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was very talkative. However, one year into their high-profile romance, Swift does not mind at all.
That would explain the latest episode of the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast, where the athlete went into great detail about Swift’s London stop of the Eras Tour.
It was a concert like no other for the NFL star who took the stage and performed with Taylor Swift for the first time.
The London show presented Travis Kelce with a once-in-a-lifetime chance to interact with two future Kings of England.
On the podcast, Travis Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce, explained that one of these moments was somewhat emasculating, but he enjoyed every second of it.
Birthday boy Prince William and his oldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, attended the concert.
The Royal Family posed for pictures with Swift and Kelce after the event. Travis Kelce confessed to having an out-of-body experience while meeting the heir to the throne.
Kelce said he did not know if he could talk to The Prince of Wales and added: “He was there with little George and Charlotte. They were absolutely a delight to meet. He was so cool. I didn’t realize this because obviously we’re backstage meeting him because he was there with little George and Charlotte, and they were an absolute delight to meet.”
He went on to say that he felt like an idiot because: “I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hands, like, ‘Sup, dude.’ We wanted to be polite.”
Jason Kelce said it was not an “official royal event.” He went on to explain that the big moment made him “feel emasculated.”
He confessed: “They said because we weren’t at an official royal event, we didn’t need to bow or curtsy. If it had been like an official royalty event meeting, then it would have been that. But I did still address him as Your Royal Highness. And I’ve never felt emasculated.”
Travis Kelce could not resist poking fun at his brother, noting: “I’ve never seen you show that much respect to anyone.” His light-hearted comment added a touch of humor to the encounter.
Jason Kelce called Charlotte “the most electric part” of their interaction and added: “Prince William was fantastic, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte. She was so f–king adorable. Maybe because I have three girls now, [but] she had a fire to her. She was asking questions.”
