Hillary Clinton Differs From Michelle Obama On How To Handle Donald Trump

Michelle Obama told Democrats they need to rise above the mudslinging when facing rowdy political discourse.

Hillary Clinton has other suggestions for Kamala Harris regarding her upcoming and highly anticipated debate against Donald Trump.

On September 10, former President Donald Trump will participate in (possibly) the only debate of this presidential election against Vice President Kamala Harris.

Along with Joe Biden, Mrs. Clinton is the only other Democrat who has ever debated Trump. Clinton went toe to toe with the billionaire mogul three times, and public polls showed she won.

However, Clinton ultimately lost her bid for the White House against Trump.

This week, the former secretary of state gave a lengthy interview to The New York Times, revealing her secret strategy for messing up Donald Trump’s head.

The former senator from New York told Harris that Trump needs to be baited, which will destabilize him.

She said: “She just should not be baited. She should bait him. He can be rattled. He doesn’t know how to respond to substantive, direct attacks.”

Hillary Clinton emphasized the significance of Kamala Harris’s prosecutorial background, assuring the American people she is well-equipped for the debate.

The politician stated: “And from her prosecutorial background, I think that’s what she will be equipped to do. I mean, when I said he was a Russian puppet and he just sputtered onstage, I think that’s an example of how you get out a fact about him that really unnerves him. The more that he can be exposed on stage — he’s not a strong leader. He’s not a stable leader. The more that can be exposed, the more people will have doubts about him. And that’s really what this debate is meant to do because the people already locked in to supporting either her or him are unlikely to change. But there still is enough potential movement in the key states where people can be persuaded that they don’t want to sign on for another four years of him.”

It appears that Clinton decided to share a little cheat sheet after Trump was hand-delivered the toughest question he should have asked during the debate.

According to GOP pollster Frank Luntz, it is the only question to rattle and exasperate Harris.

Luntz said during a discussion on CNN: “Trump could ask to confound Harris ― such as on inflation maybe, how to bring it down, and most importantly,” using former President Ronald Reagan’s line of Are you better off today than you were four years ago?”

He added: “If he asks that question plainly, he will be successful. I don’t believe he has the ability to do so.”

Polls are more less tied, and Tuesday’s debate could be a pivotal moment in the race.
