In an interview, Taylor Smith has decided to open up and be brutally honest about her former friend, Jordan Holgerson.

Holgerson made headlines earlier this month after she was seen on video being pushed by Smith from a 60-foot bridge over the Lewis River at Moulton Falls Regional Park near Vancouver, Washington.

Miss Holgerson, who lost consciousness while falling in the water, was rescued by another friend and taken to a hospital.

From her hospital bed, Holgerson revealed that she suffered six broken ribs, a punctured lung, and they found air bubbles in her chest.

The young woman is in constant pain and can barely walk.

Appearing on GMA, Smith, 18 decided to tell her side of the story. It is illegal to dive off the bridge, and the authorities seem to be making an example off Smith.

The young woman has been charged with reckless endangerment and could be facing up to 12 months behind bars and may have to pay a hefty fine of $5,000.

Smith said she has accepted her punishment and added: “I accept whatever the prosecutors think is best for me, considering I caused not only bodily harm but emotional trauma as well. But I just hope for the best.”

Smith went on to reveal that she did not imagine that her actions would have life-changing consequences.

She added: “She wanted to jump, and she was really scared, and she had asked me to give her a push, and I didn’t think about the consequences, I thought she would be fine.”

Holgerson claimed this is what happened: “I went to the top of that bridge and my other my friend, she came up to the bridge with me. And so, she was counting down, but I didn’t think anything of it. And I was like, ‘No, don’t count down, like, I won’t go if your countdown. I’m not ready.’ And then she pushed me.”

Smith said she has apologized numerous times to her former friend and was turned away when she tried to visit her in the hospital.

Smith concluded by: “I really love that girl. And I never intended to hurt her ever, nor would I intentionally hurt anyone. I’m really sorry it turned out that way. I just pray that she heals fast and gets better soon.”

Holgerson is no longer talking to Smith.
