A California teen named Jesse Ramon has been arrested after he featured in a disturbing surveillance video beating a small dog that was left in his care.
This week, Marissa Gonzalez took to Facebook where she posted the brief clip of 18-year-old Ramon and explained that he was asked to dogsit the animal named Bella.
According to Gonzalez, for some unknown reason, the young man got very angry at the dog.
In the shocking footage, Ramon is seen dragging the dog by her leash and violently beating her repeatedly.
Ramon then hit the pet with what appears to be a leash or a belt. The teen also threw the small pet in the air and later put her on the floor and proceeded to smear her face with feces.
At some point, the poor dog attempts to flee under a table, but Ramon bends down and yells at her over and over.
Surveillance video taken at a home in Ridgecrest shows that Ramon then lifts the dog in the air by her collar and continues his vicious attack on the animal.
Gonzalez said on her Facebook page that Bella belongs to her friend, Ethan Greens, and added: “HERE IS HOW NOT TO DISCIPLINE A DOG. I want everyone to see what an actual piece of s*** is.”
She continued: “He goes on to say he’s done it up to 6 different occasions. There is absolutely no reason for a small dog to be lifted off the ground and hit by someone. This wasn’t him trying to teach Bella a lesson; this was him getting his daily aggression out on an animal and wanting to cause Bella pain. Dogs do have feelings.”
The post went viral, and officers from the Ridgecrest Police Department were forced to investigate the matter.
The police questioned Ramon and subsequently arrested on felony animal abuse.
