New footage reveals the girlfriends of disgraced R&B star R. Kelly, 24-year-old Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, 22, are not on the best of terms right now, as the two women reportedly started a heated argument which soon turned into a physical fight.
The fight, which occurred on Kelly’s 53rd birthday, was filmed by Azriel and broadcast on Instagram Live.
Following the heated exchange, Azriel finished the evening at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where it was determined she was not hurt.
According to Azriel, who recorded her statements in a video, she and Joycelyn met at the luxurious apartment in the Trump Tower because both needed to gather some personal belongings as they are not living there anymore.
In the video, Azriel blames her alleged friend for taking advantage of her and having physical intercourse when she was just 17.
Reportedly, Joycelyn first started shouting and assaulting the other woman, because Azriel claimed she will spend time in jail because she had slept with her while underage.
At a later point in the footage, Azriel also said that Kelly forbade them from watching the documentary, Surviving R. Kelly, when the series first aired on Lifetime, and the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer had deceived them all.
Azriel stated: “She just came to get [Kelly’s] awards, and his Grammys and stuff, and after that, she starts saying that I’m so wrong and this and that.”
She continued with: “And I told her, ‘Joycelyn, you’re going to jail. You slept with a minor, that minor was me. You did it multiple times, over and over again.’ ”
Police got in the mix, and Joycelyn was charged misdemeanor domestic battery. She pleaded not guilty, posted bail, and was released on Thursday. Experts say Joycelyn could spend one year in jail if she is found guilty.

Joycelyn told PEOPLE: “This girl has been trying to sabotage me ever since the start of it all. It’s just gotten worse since we’ve moved in together at the Trump Tower. She’s so immature; she knew I was packing my stuff to leave, so she decides to go on Instagram Live to cause a scene.”
The two women have reconnected with their families recently, and Azriel is asking for forgiveness over her past support for Kelly.
However, a lot of viewers of the video claimed that the fight was faked so that the women could get more publicity.
One commenter said: “Something about this ENTIRE situation is so freaky. I can’t believe ANYBODY involved, and I want them all to just stop talking ????♂️.”
A second person chimed in: “Girl either tell the story or don’t say nothing until you ready until then keep it on the playground.”
A third observer also shared: “I honestly think because R Kelly bank is running a little dry she jumping ship. No victim here, just hustle ??♀️.”
Meanwhile, Kelly, who is currently behind bars, continues to plead not guilty to all of the charges against him.
The musician is battling multiple allegations such as sexual misconduct with minors, human trafficking, and many more.
