Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have addressed the unrest around the country after George Floyd‘s death through different statements and television appearances.
However, the two Democratic politicians were able to say way more with a picture and video that gave their party hope about their ability to mee the moment.
Mr. Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, took a knee with a Wilmington, Delaware protester on Sunday.
The image quickly went viral, and some people on social media say he might have found his voice, at least when it comes to race relations and police brutality, as he gets ready to conclude the primaries and take on President Donald Trump in the fall.
One person praised the former vice president and took on some of his critics by saying: “Maybe it’s me but I didn’t see Charlamagne or Diddy out there. Maybe he wants it for the votes or not, but he ain’t at home just talking!”
A second commenter went in the same direction with: “Yall demanded that this man EARN his black votes. He is doing that. What else would you like to see him do that can be done BEFORE the elections?”
A third potential voter chimed in: “He just wants the black vote, but it’s cool cause when he’s in office he better defund the police and do less talk and more action against these laws against us!!!”
Biden earned a lot of positive media coverage with this move as Harris did on Saturday when she attended a protest in front of the White House.

The former presidential candidate is the favorite for the second spot on the Biden ticket, and her video was viewed over 3 million times on Twitter alone in the past 24 hours.
Based on the two powerful moves alone, some say a Biden-Harris team would be hard to beat for Trump and Mike Pence.
Biden and Harris have come a long way after a tough primary, but they seem determined in their quest to make Trump a one-term president.
One Harris supporter replied: “You and Biden are acting more like leaders during this time of crisis than our actual president has. Biden and Kamala, 2020 ??.”
Another follower added: “Yayyyyyy Kamala Harris! Always down, always there, always on point! Kamala has shown us who she is since 1971 West Berkeley???Believe her!”
A Democrat rooting for Harris to become vide president explained: “You are everything we need right now. We are so broken. Thank you for being there. Thank you for everything you do every day. Love, hope, and light from MI.”
Biden has said that he plans to make his choice public before August 1. A black woman is expected to join him in light of the situation in the country when it comes to racism and police brutality.
