Fantasia, as a proud mother, cannot help but publicly show love and affection to her daughter when she hits big milestones in her young life.

The American Idol winner penned this heart-melting note to Zion when she celebrated her 18th birthday.

The singer and actress wrote on Instagram: “I remember the day my water broke.t was the scariest feeling in the world. We lived in Winston Salem at the time, and Papa Joe had left the house for a second and so I called the ambulance. Zi, I was terrified because I was so young, and I wanted to give you the world, but I didn’t know how I was going to do it.”

The mom of two concluded by: “[I’m] having a hard time with this 18 thing. Have a blast tonight, and remember always walk with class.”
