President Donald Trump, one of the most powerful men who spent time with the late Jeffrey Epstein, is wishing his former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, well, as she faces accusations that she helped the convicted pedophile.
Trump said during a press conference: “I don’t know, I haven’t really been following it too much. I just wish her well, frankly. I’ve met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach and I guess they lived in Palm Beach, but I wish her well. Whatever it is, I don’t know the situation with Prince Andrew, I just don’t know. I’m not aware of that.”
People on social media are not sure why Trump decided to weigh in on the case. One commenter explained: “When you think your leader is against underground shit like a Kennedy when he actually is more like a Jim Jones type of cult ass leader.”
A second person added: “He’s involved somehow. Hoping she won’t mention his name. He’ll make sure she doesn’t go to jail.”

The death of Epstein did not close the case around him by a long shot, and it seems like things are getting deeper and deeper by the day recently.
After it was confirmed that Maxwell, Epstein’s former partner, was also a person of interest in the investigation, a lot of speculation started circulating the Internet, with many claiming that she might have been just as involved in what Epstein was allegedly doing, if not more.
And recently, some serious accusations have come to light, implying that not only was Maxwell directly involved but that she might have even been orchestrating the whole event.
I think tonight I may have reached the point where even though Biden will win my state by at least 10 points and doesn’t need my vote, I may vote for him just out of pure spite for the guy who apparently wished Ghislaine well. Just fucking resign already. @Timodc

It is far from clear how much truth these claims hold, and there are lots of rumors swirling around right now. Maxwell herself has been relatively quiet and has been avoiding the public spotlight in recent weeks, although that does not seem to have helped her much.
Some even speculate that Maxwell might meet the same fate as her deceased partner. A lot of speculation surrounds the death of Epstein, with many still convinced that he did not take his own life.
One of the main theories going around is that the financier was killed before he could testify about his involvement with the scandalous activities, with the implication that many powerful figures could have been exposed by his statements.
However, it remains to be seen how much of that will prove to be true in the coming years as more facts start to come out.
