Prince Harry, 35, and his wife Meghan Markle, 39, recently stepped out to participate in a charity event involving children.
However, not all of the royal fans were happy by what they saw from the power couple. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex dressed casually with face masks on teamed up with the Los Angeles-based charity, Baby2Baby, to give away clothes, diapers, and other items to parents in need.
The famous duo, who are the parents of one-year-old son Archie, not only volunteered at the back-to-school event, they also spent time with the children who braved the coronavirus to come and collect the supplies.
Harry and the former actress were seen chatting and encouraging the many mothers who drove to the event that took place at an elementary school.
Sweet pictures also showed Meghan applauding and dancing with a child who seemed delighted to meet her. While some social media users are applauding the pair, others are very angry because they brought along photographers to take pictures at the charity event.
The millionaire duo was bashed because they had the paparazzi taking photos of people who are at a difficult time in their lives and need privacy and compassion right now.
Meghan also angered some by her wearing a very expensive blouse and jewelry.
The royal couple received this kind compliment from a fan who wrote: “Congratulations. what a wonderful woman, see the prince was lucky. She can wear whatever she wants am glad they are happy, and I pray ? she tries to make her husband happy all the time because some demons are waiting to see the downfall shame them, please.”
This critic, who is not pleased with the paparazzi following the Harry and Meghan, made this remark: “And brought her own photographer to take a lot of photos of madam. They were there for 30 minutes…???????????????????.”
Prince Harry and his spouse got this reaction from an angry follower: “When you are doing real charity work, you don’t need to flaunt it. Posing for the cameras is not necessary, this is a PR stunt.”
Another social media user lashed out by saying: “They only went to the event for photos. Their PR people set it up, and they were there 10 minutes. ?They are the only people who take photographers with them to a charity function. They’re bragging too much for it to be real.”
This person opted to defend the couple: “A Prince and his wish to serving others less fortunate than themselves, not only that but dressed for the occasion. I was looking for the six-inch stilettos but didn’t see one in sight.”
Harry and Meghan always generate controversies.
